The album this wonderful solo is from (praxis transmutation (mutatis mutandis) was my introduction to Buckethead and his amazing guitar playing back in the day. Still one of the most complete guitarist in the world. From the moment I heard his multi fingered tapping and blazing alternate picking runs to his soulful melodic solo's like this one, I knew he'd be one of my main influences and always will be.
The few the proud know that buckethead will stand above all the rest.. A day will come for those who mocked him..They will see the real talented one..Everything they said and believed in before will be forgotten.. Not buckethead because only he is welcome to the pure fountain of creation
This is one of the best versions I have ever heard. I've watched a lot of live versions on RUclips and never imagined such a short version could pack such a punch. It's got that classic emotional style solo he plays in certain songs. Bad ass to say the least.
Holy tone. True guitar monster. I think that live version of the outro where he's on the Ibanez (I believe) V sans bucket puts this to shame. Wish we could get an HD version of that somewhere.
Our heads would probably explode due to awesomeness legendary skill... This is music, and buckethead will never be forgotten imho the best guitarist there is. Or at least of all the top guitarist known to man, he just doesnt ever can get enough recognition. This guy is the standard for me. Funk rock bluesy jazzy fusion metal country he's got it all. @anthonya13 Try the song Inferno from his album with Cobra Strike called The 13th Scroll too. Pretty similar. Bucket really delivers the greatest master pieces!
