    So do you shoot sony? What makes it popular for you? If not why did you choose a different brand?

    I returned my Xt5 for an A7 IV after the fuji would have autofocus aneurysms or completely freeze, needing the battery removed. Never looking back. The color, the focus, the sharpness... Don't kid yourself

      I’ve heard about that with the Fuji xt5 from a few people. Looks like a cool camera but sadly the autofocus alone is just what helps so much for Sony to make it a great experience.

    Just move from Fuji like 4 months ago due to AF issue. Fuji color is great, but for me personally it is easier to grade color than fix the focus 😂

      I totally feel you 😂 if Fuji had fast auto focus it definitely would be a game changer for their cameras. Specially their video centred cameras since they look cool!

    Great video what do you think about Panasonic ecause they have that open gate thing i’ve been thinking about getting one mainly because of the open gate feature

    • @EasyTigerCreative
      @EasyTigerCreative  3 дня назад +1

      I think the newer Lumix cameras are great but they’re nowhere near the autofocus that Sony has yet. They do have open gate, great colouring opportunities with their files from what I’ve seen, and you get great stabilization in camera. For me if they update the autofocus to become like Sony’s then it’ll be a huge game changer due to their pricing honestly.

      @@EasyTigerCreative well do you know why Sony cameras don’t have open gate like is it a preparatory thing?

      No clue sadly.

    Sony AF makes my life a lot easier. But I also really enjoy the lenses that are available. The Tamrons are fantastic, as are the Sigmas (for the most part). There are also a series of amazing (relatively) affordable compact Sony primes that I adore: the 35mm 1.8, the 85 1.8, the 55mm za 1.8, and the 28 f2. I've generally been underwhelmed by the Sony G Master lenses as I don't find them to be great value for money - there's usually an alternative by Tamron or Sigma that's 99% as good for half the price, so a much better deal. The only exception is the 50mm GM 1.4 - that lens takes my breath away every time.
    Looking forward to the Sony A7V which is likely to be coming in the first half of next year. Hopefully we can get uncropped 4k60 or 4k50, as well as the sweet AI chip for perfect AF that's currently built into the A7RV

      They really do have a lot of variety of lenses that allows you to just find the right fit for your budget, which has been the most ideal thing besides the camera bodies to be honest. This all allows people from all budgets to access good quality lenses to improve and invest in themselves slowly, but surely as they keep growing their skills.
      I’m excited to see what they do for the a7v and see what updates still probably have for it. My guess is I’ll probably give us access to things like how they did with the a7siii and then just add a little bit more updated auto focus and the AI chip and a better articulated screen like the a7rV my guess.

    I thought the same. But Every local camera store I have ever been to said Canon out sells Sony by quite a huge margin. When me or my friends list any Sony gear, takes ages to sell. Canon gear sells quick. While kinda anecdotal, I feel sony is mainly popular amongst youtuber shills lol

    • @EasyTigerCreative
      @EasyTigerCreative  День назад +1

      Canon sells a lot still nobody said they didn’t haha but when I was in nyc and traveling lately, I see a lot more Sony lately than canon how I used to. Older people that I’ve seen use a lot of Nikon and canon since they were massive back in the day but now with everything I think it’s been changing. I think the most popular camera has been a7iii last I remember but if you see a lot of RUclipsrs get Sony is due to its reliability of auto focus and usage for content to be more reliable in my eyes.

      @@EasyTigerCreative Using a7iv and R6 together, I found sony af to not be as accurate or intuitive to use as canons for fast moving subjects (for photos). There was a specific page started on fb for a1/a7iv eyelash auto focus issues many people were having. But I found both to be quite fantastic in general. And as of today, Sony is not the AF leader anymore. It’s literally this or that and you can’t go wrong with either or. Sony takes the cake for 3rd party lenses

    • @EasyTigerCreative
      @EasyTigerCreative  День назад +1

      @@doktorr23 yea they’re great but canon has picked it up more too which is nice. I feel like canon’s issue is that there’s no 3rd party lenses for their newer mounts which makes people hesitate to invest so much when wanting to get a good setup to dive into. But I’m sure they’ll get there more now that I’ve seen sigma come out with some and I think Tamron too.
      I think you can’t go wrong with any of them now a days. Just depends on your needs. Like I love my Fuji gfx50sii despite the AF being slow haha just for different purposes of style when I use it.
