That’s not an easy thing to answer because it depends on what you’re trying to like the time of day and the intensity of the light. It never hurts to have more wattage for outdoor shootings if you’re trying to do daylight type of shooting to get some good light, but also for low light capabilities. If you have a bit more details of what you’re trying to do, I can see how I can give you some advice.

I think they’re great! I haven’t noticed a major difference in my eyes honestly. I think it does the job rather well! I haven’t done too much slow motion with it yet, but the 4k 24fps is pretty solid!

Honestly for most businesses and for just social media vertical will be staying long term relatively. Most businesses don’t use RUclips long form but a big maybe on shorts. I know for sure they stay mainly on Instagram and some on TikTok if they’re clever. But yea vertical will be a big factor for business marketing if they choose to use insta and TikTok for their ads and content.

@@elainanoell9052 I wasn’t using the 35-150 for that since I was using it for the photos! The tripod I’ve been using is a carbon fiber tripod by neewer! This one: amzn.to/4fpHyMg But if you’re gonna wanna take vertical photos, I would 100% recommend getting a type of L plate or cage for your camera so that you can just put it vertical versus tilting the head of the tripod because most tripods won’t be able to hold up the camera that easily and it can make it a lot easier if that’s what you want!

Nice! It’s a great gimbal that can take a big payload for weight! I haven’t personally had any major issues. Just make sure to balance it correctly and that’s it so you don’t get the motors to work too hard to not become jittery! It’s not really better since they’re both different. The Tamron 20-40 is an f2.8 so if you value more light over range then the Tamron is better, but if you don’t mind the f4 and want longer range then this lens is great! I own both and love both for different reasons.

Totally agree with that about the embargo Gear reviews! Honestly, I try to always tell the companies that are going to send me things that I’m gonna be speaking freely about the product whether it’s things that I like and I don’t like without any say on their behalf. And even if they do want to pay me for my review, they’re gonna be paying for my time not for some bias. I feel like a lot of RUclipsrs that I want to make money and a career and have that pressure to make money from their channel and something that I don’t want to do for myself. I want to be as helpful to people when it comes down to Gear whether I bought it myself or company decided to send it to me for free in hopes that review it or if they do want to pay me for my time to guarantee review, but they still won’t get a say in the video.

Appreciate that info! Always great to hear people’s insights on it! I can definitely understand both sides of it all! I know gear review videos can be a little draining depending on what it’s about and how they share it. For it me I like to try to showcase it me using it for a project to see a more realistic side of it as much as I can! I just know that sadly people’s research online on names of certain gear can help bring more of an audience. I wish it wasn’t that way honestly. I’d love to do more passion projects with brands and not worry about having to drop the names of them in the title to get more clicks haha but that’s how search engines work sadly. I try my best to mix it up with things I want to do for the art and sometimes of gear I genuinely want to talk about or showcase to others so that it can hopefully help them! I’ve always enjoyed seeing a piece of gear being out to use than just a showcase where they simply talk about it. I get both sometimes but I do definitely enjoy seeing the art being made than just specs of a gear haha

I was contemplating getting the 24 to 50 but since I have the Tamron 20 to 40 F2 .8 I kinda just didn’t think it would make sense so I wanted something with more range. Eventually, I do want to try to look for a fast prime at 35 mm or the 28 to 75 by tamron as well since I used to have it.

@@EasyTigerCreative Didn’t know you already had the Tamron 20-40mm. For AF primes how fast and how big do you want to go. The FE 35/1.8 is light or you can consider the Sigma I-Series 35/2 DG DN Contemporary. Unless you want to go heavier and larger with the 35mm f/1.4 GM which is excellent. Be interesting to see what you get. Take care.

@@stevenwaldstein2249 yes the 20-40 is awesome! I use it a lot for videoing honestly in the channel haha it really depends on what I need! And I forgot about the sigma 35mm f2! Might look into that. I would get the GM 35mm 1.4 but the pricing is just too much for me right now since I don’t necessarily need it 😂

That’s awesome to hear! Looks like you have an awesome setup! I actually picked up an a7cii recently and it’s helped me feel a bit more like shooting Fuji to a certain degree and as well a gfx 50sII. Just feels good to vary it up to stay creative and enjoy both worlds with both companies.

@@EasyTigerCreative I also picked a sony 6600 because i like the tilt screen rather than flip out and it's more compact. bought 3 lense and it feels awesome in hands and motivates me to shoot more.

Definitely can understand that! I know houses now a days aren’t as great as some used to be built but just good to be able to avoid being in the harsh wind and rain inside the comfort of my home!
