Honestly I liked the old one better, the character voices were better differentiated, and Crawford sounded like a madman, now he’s cold and calculated. Another note, I miss there eerie music in the background, lastly, even though you wouldn’t think so when you did your other voices, you could tell it was recorded a different way, in a separate session but that was a good thing, and differentiated the characters even more. I hope you read this Ian, I love your work so much.
Last night I fell asleep to this story followed by Pearl Jam's Alive, and dreamt that Protagonist from the song grows up to make a friend who succumbs to these other dimensional creatures... And he cannot decide if what he sees is real or if his mother left him so broken that he's imagined the whole experience.
This story always ignites my imagination about different worlds and strange creatures. Also about the effort of the writer to use scientific language. Thanks, Ian.
One of my fav HPL stories. Imagine some Govt experiment rediscovering Mr. Tillinghast's machine and the fun that could happen. Poor Warren tried to warn us but he was taken away by abyssal abominations. He is presumed dead. Kudos to the narrator and author 🎉🎉
When I was a kid, my uncle fell asleep while we were watching the SciFi channel (years before the spelling change). This movie came on and I got sucked in, then waaay too scared :D I still think about it occasionally and it still freaks me out. Things that we can't see around us, and if we do see them...

To my imagination you represent the storytelling voice of the anglophile H.P.L. himself. Having read everything I could find either by him or his collaborators before discovering HorrorBabble I feel compelled to hand it to you!
I still owe it to Gordon Stewart for introducing me to HPL at the tender age of 10ish with Reanimator and then this gem. If not for Lovecraft I might be a twisted version of my current self.
Have you considered doing anything with "Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean" by Maurice Doreal? An actual 1930s cult leader who incorporated Lovecraft's mythos into his cult's beliefs and the aforementioned book contains his own take on history with Lovecraft and pseudoegyptology incorporated into it.
