Ahhhhhh, these were great times. Not a care in the world at age 5, and Mr. Potato Head was still a thing lol 😂 My generation (latter-stage millennials) had a lot of great shows growing up, and it’s a shame zoomers don’t have the same quality content IMO. Yes, my generation is also quite brainwashed by social media narcissism (although to many it gives them a sense of meaning in a world where they are given much less opportunity than their parents or grandparents had smh 🤦♂️), but as the world becomes seemingly darker every day, our memories will help us tread the broken path.
@@secondratefilmschool Well I'm looking for the Nick Big Help commercial from 1997 with Larisa Oleynik being red headed, though I have a torrent off MySpleen that shows the first few seconds of it then it cuts to an episode of KaBlam!. Though there was another one she did alongside Jonathan Taylor Thomas (who was still on Home Improvement at the time, being his last season), they both had separate versions as well.
This is all that was on the tape. My Mom didn't edit anything out & the only thing I removed was the cartoons themselves. Don't know if my market did something different than yours or this was it. Not sure how many more of these I have (this was the holy grail due to the commercials being left in, when we usually would stop taping save room on the tape). If I find any I will for sure!
@@Numbers832 Joking aside I do have some from 99 that will be uploaded sometime this summer to coincide with the summer themed ads! Make sure you subscribe to see this and more!
We had a lot of blank VHS tapes back then and my mom would sometimes just tape random stuff so I could watch my favorites later! In this case we meant to tape Rugrats passover for a Holiday special tape, and she forgot to shut it off!
@@blizzred2143 That's the thing! We usually edited out the commercials so there was more room on the tape! Like 90s me would have much preferred three more cartoon shows on this tape vs these commercials! Hell in High School as VHS was going out the door I was transferring tapes to DVD and a lot I was editing out the commercials for the same reason! Crazy the nostalgia we have for marketing from our childhoods!
@@bluescluesuniverse1203 I'll keep my eyes pealed but I was no longer watching Nick Jr when Dora was on & we didn't tape a lot when I watched Blues Clues. But maybe I will find something else!
@@secondratefilmschool Well I'm looking for Nickelodeon tapes from 1998 (The Secret World of Alex Mack, Hey Arnold!, KaBlam!, Journey of Allen Strange, SNICK, Nick News, All That, Nick specials etc...), since I'm not allowed to post new topics in the "Requests" forum on Classic Nick Shows.
0:22 I had forgotten about Summer Sanders. I remember seeing her all the time on Nick.
Thank you for the nostalgia!

Glad to see you could find something that screams "Classic Nick".
Hope you have more of that and Classic CN if or when you find it.
I do have a little More Classic Nick around the corner & maybe some Cartoon Network stuff as well! I like keeping everyone guessing!

Pre-coronavirus stuff.😎
1998 was a great year. I wish I had a time machine to travel back to the late nineties/early 2000’s and relive my childhood lol 😆
just keep an eye out for more nickelodeon stuff
What about Nick commercials from March 1998?, you hadn't been uploading any for a while.
Sorry! I do have some coming up from not that month (we usually edited out commercials to save room on the Tape). Stay tuned!

Can you upload the missing up next bumps from this video? Can you upload more breaks with these CGI up next bumps from 96-98? (if you have them)
