    Nice knife and video, I looked at this on the Opinel website a month ago and really want to pick one up. Then again, I love the Swissbianco Swiss army knives and would love to buy all of them also haha.

    What an American might call a traditional penny knife. As a user it has the advantage of a little bracing at the hinge but there is no way to hold this knife open. Many such knives had a small spur on the back of the blade to stop over opening and a closed hand would hold it open.

      Dwight E Howell the newer ones I think number 6 7 and 8 have a ring that is used to lock it in place in use and when out of use keep it from opening in your pocket
