M135i 2013 PWG Top Speed Run 161mph+? Stage 2 (decat + K&N Panel Filter)

- Speed run was done on the German Autobahn (about a year ago), running a stage 2 remap with Decat + K&N Panel Filter (356bhp / 630NM). This was a early PWG M135i and does not produce figures like the later EWG model (july 2013 onwards), 0 -60 mph about 4.5 seconds, top speed 170-175mph ?, speedo does not go past 161mph. Sorry camera was not secured correctly.

Can really see the PWG power drops off a cliff just before 6000rpm abit like a diesel.
Unrelated question sorry, but I see you have lane assist… is there a button you push to activate this? I’ve got a m135i with lane assist but no button
It would probably be abit faster if you shifted up just after 6000rpm as around 6200rpm you can really see it run out of steam.
How do you get your dash speed up ?
This can be done through bimmer code on android/iphone and a obd adapter.
Do you still own the car mate send me a message ?am wanting more boost after the 6k rpm as I have the PWG aswell have you gone bigger turbo or have you managed to find a upgrade Wastegate actuator to fit so can hold a bit more boost at higher rpm. Well I think that the theory 👍🏻
Hi Jimmy, yes i still own the car, i have not gone bigger turbo (will do in the future). The PWG does suffer at the higher RPM range due to the Pneumatic Wastegate, Electronic Wastegate (july 2013 onwards models) does not suffer from this as it can regulate the boost better. If you want better boost through the rev range then i advise you go for a Pure Stage 1 turbo. When i made this video i was running 356bhp / 630NM and now with the added AirTec Intercooler i am running 370bhp - 660nm which i am happy with. If this was Electronic Wastegate with these mods it would be running round about 410bhp - 640nm - hope this help !

I own a m135i PWG 2013 I have owns the car for 2 years had it since stock
I have the following mods :
LSD
Wagner Intercooler
Masta charge pipes
Gfb dv +
Enventuri v2 carbon intake
Cobra decat Res gone custom back box mod exhaust
Also a basic flash map from mates garage ( run for a year good but just a flash for support mods at the time was a decat ) Never had it on the dyno. Going stage 2 it first see what figures I can make

You only got 360bhp from stage 2?
Yes, i did think is was quite low but i'm happy with the power. Its now running 370bhp - 660nm with the added Intercooler.
So you’re only running 50bhp from a stage 2 + ? Doesn’t seem right
@@MrCharlan1 I only had a stage 2 map then added the Intercooler at a later date, it made natural power which took it to 370bhp / 660nm. Its never had a stage 2+ map on.

@@MrCharlan1 To be honest every car/tuner is different, i would say between 340 - 360bhp - i have put my dyno graph in the description
