Can you give us a tour of all the art you did in this bible once it is done? I know that you will probably work on it for many more months/ years, but it would be nice to see the final result at one point.

This scripture is exactly, EXACTLY what I needed to hear today. Soon, I think, I will be faced with making the decision to put my 4 year old dachshund to sleep. Somehow is spine is injured and he’s losing the ability to walk and stand. I could easily deal with that, but he’s in pain. Lots of pain where he screams every morning until I dose him up with meds. My heart is breaking. I love him so much and would gladly take his pain as my own. Please pray for his comfort and acceptance and strength for me. 😢
Bless your heart. Prayers for your strength with this difficult decision. Our pets are precious to us, but like you, my heart breaks if they are in pain or are uncomfortable with something I can’t fix.

I'm so sorry. I don't know how old this post is. Our doxie went through this also. We had her on meds and crate kept for weeks. If she shows signs of paralysis, she will need surgery. I'm so sorry...:( She is better now but never allowed to jump down again.

This is so cute !!! I don’t k ow if I have a a space big enough to recreate this in my Bible. But maybe a narrower version in the margin? In any case, I’m ordering some more journals for taking Sunday notes at church. And I always like to paint my own covers. I usually use watercolors. But I’m going to buy some acrylic paints now and give that a try.

I would like to share with you a tip about masking fluid I discovered. I dipped my brush first in soap foam and then in the fluid and used it and it did not ruin my brush! Thanks

Jen, this page is beautiful. I don’t have an interleaved bible, however I just may try it in in one of my bibles as a tip in. I’m learning modern calligraphy, however I do need to learn faux as well. What kind of paper would you use for a tip-in?
For this one, since its acrylic, pretty much any paper would do the job. I personally like sketchbook paper, since it usually holds up well but it still thin enough that it fits easily in the Bible.
