I know this post is older but I have to comment. I'm a retired guy so I would never do this. I like ordered black and white inserts that I make when studying. I am fairly particular. However, I have to say you are amazing and that bible work looks stunning. What a load of fun and you can add contextual art for the passages. Very cool indeed. Keep going...

Thank you for sharing. Interested in this medium, but always a little afraid to attempt. Perhaps I will try first a small prayer journal or study before diving into a Bible. I usually am a little heavy handed with ink, and a little nervous about damaging the Bible or it's construction.✝️💗

Just WOW! I remember much of the artwork from your videos every Sunday. You have obviously learned how to push life aside and just focus on your art - something I need to learn how to do. Just purchased your scripture envelope (can't remember the exact name) class and can't wait to start working on the folded ones for my Crafting for Christ ministry. Sell one??? That's not even remotely close to why I do it. :( Besides which it would have to be tens of thousands of dollars with all that art.
@@SandyAllnock1 Yes, I can imagine that they would cost at least that considering your talent and time investment. I've seen them occasionally on Etsy, but not nearly as well-done (with original art) as yours. It helps that you're a talented artist.

This is so beautiful Sandy! I loved watching them all. 💕 How did you do Daddy's Girl? Did you draw from a photo or did you have a mirror and drew from that? If you take suggestions, I'd love to see a video on how you did, 'He's been faithful from the foundation' in your workbook. Would also love a tutorial on the slain lion and enthroned lamb. I'd love to see how to do one of the bird pages too! (I love birds) 😁 I'd love to learn your roses, 'Here's my yes' page. I love the farmer too! They're all gorgeous and thanks for allowing us to enjoy the inspiration from God's word in art form! You're an amazing artist and I've been so inspired and blessed through your gifting! That's a great idea to create a workbook on Bible paper--how did you get that created?
It was some thing the publisher wanted to do, a workbook, and I told him I would only do it if they found paper that was similar to a Bible so people could practice on it.
