Once you sharpen them to get rid of the coating they work well.

I love them, I bought the 72 set 3 times. If Amazon gives us a 150 set or even 120, Prismacolors would be off the market.

The more I use the Amazon Basics pencils the more I find I like them. I do find I'd like a bigger set of colors to really want to invest them in. For now, I find myself using my Prismacolor and my Polychromos more than anything else.

You paid too much for them, I can buy them here the 72 for $13 or $14 +. Have you tried the Koh I Noor?
