In relation to football styles and lack of individuality .. it's NOT really about Pep.. its more to do with the Academy system that emphasizes teamplay rather than individual skills.. Also, there is so much data and analysis now that coaches are able to STIFLE attacking play... almost every coach out there is able to implement a scheme to stop individuals, especially in international football where players are not familiar with each other (in the attacking phase) and thus defenses will always get on top
Bielsa's philosophy got us playing some incredible football, got the players as fit as I've ever seen, played man to man and we absolutely battered some teams in the prem with us finishing 9th.. Obviously we took some batterings off the better teams due to the contrast in player quality but having him at our club for 4 years was pure joy.. Great show again 👌

i think turkish is being nostalgic...id agree with him in terms of playing styles.....and lack of maestros and personalities.....but the quality was not tht good.....thts why the were maestros to begin with.....right now even if u have players who are elite there not tht exceptionally better thn their teammates....there are some exceptions ofcourse....but the modern day average player is better thn the one in the 90s.....plus the games are far more entertaining...rather thn having one maestro entertaining.....u have better games overall.....plus i get tht we dont have a lot of maestros but there r still quite a lot of good individual performances....ur palmers.....vinicius....bellingham....de bruyne....they have literally run games.....for me as a chelsea fan.....i have enjoyed watching arsenal playing this season more thn any other.....they dont have any maestros but collectively play scintelating football.....i think we tend to overlook what the brilliance of modern day football....

Pep has changed football, it is at it's peak and has gone close to footballing perfection. The real reason football is boring is coz of small teams playing low block football. His system has elements of team game, individual brilliance and trophies to go with it.
