Cool video idea… Wind at the bow is what matters, not at the target. Do the test again with the fans up on blocks and fans blowing right to left right in front of the bow when you shoot.

I don't think this test is a realistic test, just that the fact that the two fans are just before to target, and the wind isn't blowing on the Arrow long enough to cause and effect.
It isn't the same as you standing on a windy day, and the entire 20-yard Flight of The Arrow is that crosswinds.
I believe you will get a more realistic results and see the effects of the wind on the Arrow.

In an ideal world yes that would be more realistic. But even up to 30 mph winds there was little to no effect on the arrow itself.

Forward motion of the arrow is irrelevant. Drop an arrow held in the direction of the shot from a height of 4 feet. It will take 0.5 seconds to hit the ground and the distance the wind blew it away from perfectly down is identical to what will happen to it in 0.5 seconds of flight (a 40 yard shot with a 240 fps bow)

Is there a principal ur basing this on? The test was measuring a cross wind.

Sorry but there is no way ypu can do a good test without a hooter shooter.
    Calm day test.
    Windy day test.
    Same bow, arrows etc.

That would definitely be ideal. But you can still see patterns based on the law of averages.
