Great video of a classic sim. Thanks for the video. I still have my boxed copy to hand (and a lovely box it is too). The drag-and-drop armament screen is better than DCS today, in my opinion. Certainly more fun to load :)
I used to play this masterpiece on Amiga 1200 very often. The sounds of jet engines are absolutely brutal, though not so realistic. What does the RIO say after destroying air targets? Something like "remove a man?"
there's a fair bit to learn in this one but it's highly worth it I would say. I tend to only play Amiga sims even now because while they are simpler in tech compared to pc sims of the time, they are I think a little cleaner in look thanks to no textures and better resolution compared to the lores dos stuff
Yes, it could be, since you have to keep it formed up during the fuel transfer. Even though aerial refueling also was featured in earlier sims, I can't think of one at the moment in which this wasn't done automatically for you.
It's been years since I recorded this but if memory serves, the game only supports keyboard or switched joystick, so I'm probably using keyboard control.

I never had the chance to use an Amiga computer. But lately I've seen that Amiga had some good flight simulators 😀
Absolutely loved this back in the day. Not to complex, could jump into it and for the time was very immersive. Thanks for posting!

Great sim for its time - perhaps the greatest amiga combat jet sim.

I think he says "Game over man"
I always heard "Move over, man"

Nice, thanks
Το είχα στην 500 Plus και με είχε εντυπωσιάσει η κίνηση των γραφικών που ακόμα και στα 7MHZ ήταν ομαλή.
I think this is the first game that simulated in-flight refuiling.

Which control method are you using?

my best game ever ;)
A500 6MB?
Εντυπωσιακό. Θυμάμαι ότι είχα κάποια κόπια για λίγο αλλά δεν του είχα δώσει σημασία. Κρίμα.
Looks fantastic in Amiga. I've tried to play it on PC, but is awful.
about 200 hours on it....but birds of prey was more realistic...
