Of her many words of wisdom, this one is the single most powerful: "NOTHING HAPPENS BY ACCIDENT." Amen.
Such an underused actress. Her portrayal in ordinary people was magical- she nudged Conrad back to living with her charming intelligent kindness that came from Elizabeth herself. Very little acting involved . I believe one day if Elizabeth wants it she will shine even further in a role that will reveal the depth of her character. Class act.
Looking forward to next episodes of DA w/ the redoubtable Shirley MacLaine. It just keeps getting better and better.

kind of sad that her greatest on screen daughter is not there.
Well, it's up to Elizabeth whether she talks about Shirley MacLaine or not. I think all of them enjoyed their work at "DA" and they asked Elizabeth to talk about her because she's played Shirley's daughter in S3. What's so wrong with that? Besides, I don't think she's a boring actress, it's her character that might seem "boring" to you because Cora's always been the wife & mother :-)

to leave her old life behind and immerse herself in the life of the
aristocracy, as Lady Mary Tavistock. Her world is turned upside down, Flo
realises she’s not the person she’s always thought she was and to make matters
worse she finds out her life is endangered. In order to make sense of who she
really is and what her purpose in life is, she’s sent to Switzerland to meet
others of her kind. the first book of a trilogy. It's going to be released
later this year.

Did y'all notice Jennifer Aniston so serious no smile no nothing 🤔she's truly a self centered person in my opinion. She's not happy 4 anyone. People as her especially being a woman no man can stay with her and that's 😔 sad.
Shirley MacLaine is awesome in most things, but she was awful in Downton Abbey.
