I fell in love with this actor watching him on Big Bang. The biggest obstacle for neuro-divergent people is being recognized as just people. He made the character of Sheldon so easy to understand as a person, not a person with differences.

I always thought Jim was the heart of TBBT. His physical comedy, facial expressions mainly, is incredible. He can say more with just a look than most actors can with a line of dialogue.
Even ppl who hated the show gave credit for how amazing he was with the character

Agreed 100 per cent and he nearly didn't get the role because Chuck Lorre thought he was "too perfect". I certainly don't think it would have had so much success without Jim

The first thing I ever saw him do was that Quizno's commercial (the cable TV version!) where he was raised by wolves. That was an instant classic in our household... when BBT first came on, we all yelled, "Wolf Boy!" 🤣

I love how often Jimmy likes to make things happen for people. Even famous people have things they would love to do and have dreamt of doing, this isn't the first time Jimmy has done something to make someone's dream come true. The fact that a simple 1 minute thing he could let someone do on his show to make a simple wish come true is special in talk show hosts. So kind of you, Jimmy, to let Jim Parsons do a curtain walk through.

I used to watch episodes of this after Breaking Bad. I loved that show but it was a little disturbing to be rooting for such a bad person. BBT helped me reset before sleep. I loved that show, all the characters. Just a great ensemble that made each other better.
All of my favorite episodes or extended scenes are Penny and Sheldon. There’s a sweetness between them.
The one I love to watch is when she dislocated her shoulder and Sheldon was the one that had to take care of her.
I started watching a few months ago And while I'm not binging it endlessly, I am up to season 11. I'm sad for it to end. This was another show That I didn't give a chance When it was on.. Those are always the shows that become Some of my all time favorites like Frasier, andWill and grace, The nanny. Just to name a few. Now I can add BBT to that list.
To me Jim Parsons always has such a warm personality. I'm pretty sure he would be a lot of fun to hang out with

He really is, but if you see old interviews, he didn't use to speak like this. He spoke more energetically almost like Sheldon. Now it's more deep, slow, soft, feminine and paced.
@@CeceliPS3I mean younger Jim was fairly bubbly and extremely extroverted so yeah it would make sense he would share Sheldon's excitement but he was always very different from Sheldon and didn't even know what Doctor Who was nor has he ever been very nerdy or geeky. He seems to have mellowed much more in recent years.

Jim Parsons is a wonderful actor. Very talented and down to earth. He looks tired, I'm sure he's extremely busy working long hours....I look forward to watching more of his work.
I was in LA maybe six years ago and he pulled out in front of us in a mini cooper and used a hand signal to tell us which way he was going. My friends and I just stared at him lol. I have not seen anyone use a hand signal while driving ever in my life. Makes him seem that much sweeter.

I don’t think anyone else could have played Sheldon and still made him like able. The sweet innocence that Jim Parsons brought to the role made the character not only tolerable but beloved.

Traveled cross country to see this play, and it was so worth it - I’m seeing it twice while im in town, One of the most moving experiences I’ve ever had in the theatre. Parons is perfect as ALFIE. But the whole cast is tremendous, and Doyle’s direction is spot on. I hope they get to extend again!

I watched Spoiler Alert and really loved it. The ending is sad of course, but the whole movie is just a delight and quite funny. It's essentially a love story more than anything

I have this on a T-shirt, my dad bought it for me knowing how much I love BB. I was about 40 I still wear it at 50, I don’t care if I’m older than a lot of young people that love the show. It’s a wee bit worn but BAZINGA all the way in life.😊

Jim Parsons is an amazing actor. With Big Bang Theory, it would be good to see him in more movies. It would be awesome to see a big bang theory with some modern tech or even a big bang theory movie with the original cast.

I’d love if the cast of tbbt could do a few more episodes showing Leonard and penny becoming parents and Sheldon being a bit more arrogant at work now he’s won the Nobel prize and seeing how Barry finally acknowledges Sheldon’s work
The whole point of the last scene where Sheldon gives his speech and looks down at his medal in the way he does is that he’s changed. He’s not that arrogant guy anymore, hearing Amy say that sometimes he’s just tolerated by the people he sees as his family makes him realize he’s been a bad friend. He doesn’t wanna be that way anymore. He’s always gonna be Sheldon-weird, a little abrasive, but you can see he doesn’t want to actually upset them anymore
@Makeitso2023 • I do too - There are so few sitcoms that are actually watchable, but TBBT was/is amazing and I’m heartbroken that there won’t be any more episodes.
