Yes, it helps with the incline but your foot is still at an unnatural angle with the weight on your toes and where the entire ground is an unknown factor and you better have good balance or you are going to step wrong, twist your ankle, and end up looking like the most ungraceful broken giraffe ever. It is just...awkward.
