Best sentence I've ever said to my narcissistic husband was "until you calm down I am not going to do or discuss anything with you" I walk away and stand by what I said until he stops the raised voice, the Belittling, and the demanding. It doesn't matter what he says, I won't react and don't respond until he understands that he can't continue to control me. I did this regularly (almost daily) for months until he got the point. Now he only argues with himself, under his breath 😊
I divorced a narcissist after 14 years of marriage. Now, 30 years later, he has intertwined with my sister & they are very close friends. Her husband tolerates it. When I am in their presence & he begins his bragging, I simply leave the conversation. Not sure he’s caught on what I’m doing but I can’t stand it!

A really mean supervisor was trying to devalue me infrot of others by telling me to do something I obviously would do eventually, I didn't respond , I just calmly started doing it , and she pause for 2 second expecting me to respond and just be like moving out of place and said out loud to her self something like "oh god oh god, what's with this world " it's like she glitching or something,
I'm my mind I said "look at that I checkmate her"

When we do these things, it triggers their big narcissistic rage.
Done this, I am currently doing this as well bc my
narc husband always says, “ what’s wrong? Me nothing why? Him because you have a tone me what are you talking about? I’m talking normal.” and now because I know exactly what he’s doing. That conversation ends right there. I state I don’t have a tone or an attitude and he has nothing to feed off of.

Wow good woman coming from Canada yet again from that crazy caretaker that was a narcissist I finally got out of that building but anyhow so now where I live there is a narcissist sociopath that lives directly above me wow so what you said at the very beginning I didn't know that I didn't think or whatever cuz it's just so intense that when you don't stay calm you're actually supplying them I didn't know that I didn't think of it that way too kind hearted in in too many ways being an empath plus being a Deliverance worker for the Lord Jesus Christ thank you message for those particular words I'm going to get that into my being by writing it on a sticker

I wish I could be like that, but my brother is a narcissist and I was putting up with his narcissism for years now unfortunately I work for a narcissist and she’s dying of cancer so she’s even more narcissistic and manipulative and gaslighting and bullying. Then she was before she will not let me transfer. I am trying to look for another job, but I shouldn’t have to leave my job of six years because of her! I feel like I’m stuck and I don’t like it example my day off today my husband was having surgery and she calls me to basically call me a liar on something that I didn’t even do. I shouldn’t have picked up the phone, but I didn’t know it was her, any help would be much appreciated and I know I need to find a new job. Lol

I don't understand what narcissist supply means for some years now
If one in 6 is a narc, do they have a handbook or something, for them to have such predictable habits?
Mine is in jail , along with his lying best friend & his ex that he's been cheating on me with for over 1 1/2 yr, while i was caring for his disabled mother.( 4yrs free of pay) Perfect time to move, right? His mother couldn't afford to pay so I'm broke, and he got my Jeep impounded, I've lost it now. I'm stranded here outside of town , and the little town doesn't have much in the way of resources.
It's like Satan stays up late to make sure that life will always be hard

Narcissistic supply to a narcissist is when they can provoke an emotional reaction. The supply is the reaction, the attention. Especially if they can make someone upset. Ms. Zung described it in this video as “drama, trauma, chaos - that excitement” ( 5:05 and 5:07 ). It’s my personal experience that narcissists are always scrutinizing people, looking for *any* nuance of a reaction. Reactions aren’t always verbal - it could be posture or any other nonverbal cue.

I have a question divorced my narc after 29 years and now found out he left out three accounts on the asset sheet for the financial disclosure. What should I do with my attorneys to make sure I also receive half of each of these or in that they weren’t mentioned in the degree because he didn’t disclose them. Am I not entitled is he in contempt please help
