What happens if you solder threaded fittings?

Great video, you got some plumbing skills, thanks for the content I was wondering this very thing. What is the torch you are using there?

I think it was the basic torch kit made by Bernzomatic but I had problems with it randomly turning off, I would get a higher quality torch as bernzomatic has many options.

It works. The master plumber I used to work for soldered a 1/2" brass plug into a tee inside a wall.

It would be cool if you did a pressure test on to see if it leaks. I pressure test all my threaded valves and hose bibs I buy at Habitat restore before I use them.

I should have done that, I don’t have it anymore as I recorded this video a year ago.
