It does my heart good to see English engravers working on guns. At some point the government decreed weapons as scary and dangerous, unfit for civilized society and the common people. At least not without close government supervision. A beautiful English art began to die. As an American, I still relish the idea of a fine English double or drilling. A 20ga upland gun and a fine Nitro rifle is a dream of mine. Seems the Italians have stolen the market these days with poor knock-offs. Perhaps the art of not just the embellishment, but the crafting of a fine weapon will eventually return to the isles. One can hope.
funny... i am trying to teach myself to become a craftsman... i am making my first rifle!.... i thought i was getting good until i saw this... you guys are truly masters.... i hope to be as good as you guys one day!😃
