Tauson has really good strokes and she overpowered Ostapenko which is not easy.
Hmm, different behavior after this match from Ostapenko. Although by her standards, quite good, and honestly fine. She looked at Tauson and shook her hand. Maybe there is (finally) some improvement there. Although the look up at her box after virtually every good shot by the opponent suggests she finds it unfair when someone else plays a good point.

Ostapenko has not been doing well so far this year.
Ostapeko needs to go deeper in tournaments 💀💀 she is the only player in the top ten that has a positive h2h score against swiatek (4-0) but they don't ever play cause penko keeps losing early

@@TheSuperjunebug Eh, I just wanna watch some fun tennis. They haven't played each other for so long and Iga has been playing so well. It would be interesting to see how she would react to Penko's game at this time in her career. But that's not possible because Penko is, in my opinion, incredibly inconsistent. She played some amazing tennis at the beginning of the year and now... nothing.
Crazy result. Osapenko all over the place these days. Can beat the number one player with ease yet loses this.

@@elbis1964 Yes, she is inconsistent. And this makes Iga unstable. Iga can beat any player she know her tactics. Penko has no tactics, no game pattern, no style (excluding constant skirmishes with umpires). It's very hard to predict what is in her head.
But I'm dreaming that one day Iga will tear the skin off her ;)
Clara is still one of the biggest talents out there. Injury free she is top 20 for sure
