I've been on Reddit since about a year after its inception (mid-2000's), and as of two or three months ago I am done with Reddit. Early to the party, late to leave. *I've had a long feeling the reddit was going to replace the google search, bc for years I found myself typing "reddit" into my google querries.
I'm confused on what actually is different. I just tried all of those search engines mentioned and every single one had links to Reddit, even without putting Reddit in the search field.
I'm so happy that the internet stopped making it easy to search message boards and forced that kind of result to reddit then also damaged that as well

It's possible their caches have not been fully wiped. I've seen that with Google.
