I'm sure the hardware folks over at Sony must feel sooo embarassed right now. I mean, imagine forgetting to include a disk tray in 2020 lol
It's funny how lots of people got very upset with Rocco for destroying that PS5, but also like to watch hollywood action films that destroy millions of dollars worth of cars, furniture, houses, and other materialistic things just for entertainment. The only difference is Mega64 did it better than Hollywood. For the record Mega64 paid out of pocket to get that PS5 and didn't write it off as a work expense tax deduction like some think. They ordered it fairly like everyone else. Meanwhile in hollywood production companies get big loans from the bank, investors, millions of tax credits from the state, and govt subsidiaries. A lot of the time all this money ends up going towards half-baked passionless movie ideas that are basically an excuse to demolish buildings, damage perfectly good houses, destroy thousands of materialistic goods, and waste resources that impoverished communities and struggling families could benefit from if distributed properly. Especially families who have medical needs and illnesses. Yes, you can argue movies do create jobs but the amount of wastefulness out weighs the short-term impact of those short lived jobs. We all seem fine with supporting big budget movies like Transformers, The Resident Evil movies, and Fast & Furious. But as soon as we see regular people being wasteful in the same way for a YT vid it's an atrocious act against people who don't have much. What Mega64 did was nothing in comparison to hollywood. I'm not for or against what they did but at least they did it with their own money. Hollywood uses borrowed tax money along with the money that we gladly pay/give to them. My main gripe is that the people who carelessly vote with their money are probably the ones who were most upset about what Mega64 did to that PS5.
