  • Soak in the quiet beauty of To'Hajiilee, New Mexico, U.S.A., in the second installment of my interview with Marty Monte as he talks about some of the sacred sites visited by medicine men. To'Hajiilee is a small community of Navajos (Dine') located just west of Albuquerque that was federally recognized only in the 1960s. Community members are often regarded by other Dine' as outsiders due to historical falsehoods around The Long Walk, so their contributions--as well as the sacredness of To'Hajiilee--have been forgotten by most. Learn with me about some of these important geological features and enjoy the expansive vistas.
