The V-class is either all-wheel-drive or REAR-wheel-drive. The Vito is available in front, rear, or all, but the 2-liter is rear-or-all only.

Have a V300 and it is great. It's not a hard ride like a lot of SUV's today that look to lap the Nurburgring. I love it

i have some experience with driving a V class (Marco Polo) , and i agree with you fully on how easy it is to manouver around in such a big vehicle. To be honest your trucker's T shirt grabbed most of my attention though... Nice video, keep them coming, we need it in dire times like these...
A honest review👍. One correction needed is that it doesn’t have a “front-wheel drive” version but has a back wheel drive apart from the all-wheel drive.
I think like you said, MB have missed the trick here. Oh well they can't be consistent all the time. Totally agree with you. Another excellent review.

The Mercedes V-class is the favourite vehicle for five star Swiss hotels, catching up people from the Bahnhof or Flugplatz. The top speed is a little bit overdone for a VIP-carrier.

Hi Jamie, yes indeed, and while most of the Mercedes models come with the MBUX, not all/ It will take a while before the vans get it though. just the nature of the business

One of the best in the van market no doubts but there is still another option of Chrisler Pacifica Limited with V6 AWD or Hybrid which are both quite better engine options. Merc would be much more competetive if has at least CNG version. There is plenty of space to built it in w/o compromising utility.

Twice, I've came VEEERRRYYY close to getting a Metris over here in the US. I ended up with a GLC and then traded for a used GL450 (which I love). If MB would put the more luxurious seats from the Euro V-class in the US-market Metris, I'd grab it. They really do drive quite nicely.

Brilliant review Anna. I would take the V class AMG 300d in a heartbeat. Great for long-ass trips once this corona-virus has ended. You looked uber glamorous too behind the wheel from your lofty driving position in the v class.

Nope, it had 6 seats. It can indeed be built with 7 seats but the tested model has 6 seats. Plus the driver naturally.

I think it could be Graphite grey metallic with beige leather but I’d like you to confirm if possible.

Hi Ogotuwa, thank you for dropping by. The paint colour was Selenit Grey (7992) and the leather was Nappa Tartufo (V4T). Personally, I think it looked much better in person, the lighting in the video wasn't great as the weather on that day was simply awful. It is a very classy and elegant van.

Of course it's another great Anna production! I've driven in the Metris, the US version of the V-Class. Looks like they really upgraded the interior on the 2020 refresh. The 2014+ is a plastic mess, with seats that make a Toyota Yaris feel plush.
A Toyota Sienna would be my choice, for far less money. And the Sienna would be on the road, trouble-free for 20-years. I rented a Chrysler Pacifica, and that was plush and comfy. But it's a Fiat/Chrysler product, so that certainly won't end well.

Why they don't put S Class seats and mild-hybrid on this car, just not luxury enough, it's ok with higher price but just giving the option😅
The engine noise is still loud for a luxury car, hybrid will help.
