I have had braces and worn them to school for about 7 months now. It's really just natural, no one will care too much and choose a color that you like to make your braces glow even more, oh and if you eat lunch at school try to bring with you a cleaning tool of some sort like a flosser or a soft toothpick to clean away food. After a while you get used to it and I even forget I have braces sometimes.

Yeh. 30 minute lunch 5 minutes to get to next lesson leaves me with 25 minutes. Canteen queues are 15 minutes and leaving me with 10 minutes and I've got to eat and do all this?! No time!

Edit: its a day later and I got my braces yesterday! they don't feel the best but they don't hurt just a bit sore! i suggest eating before the appointment because its hard to eat with braces! they can also be a bit uncomfortable at first but you'll get used to them!
Theres plenty of people at my school with braces, but i NEVER saw someone cleaning their braces before 😭
