I’d love to see Maiden do maybe an 18-20 song album with the London Philharmonic Orchestra like KISS did KISSYMPHONY with the Melbourne Philharmonic and The Scorpions Moment of Glory with the Berlin Philharmonic. There’s just something about combining Classical and Metal together that sounds great. 🤘🏼🤘🏼UpTheIrons🤘🏼🤘🏼

I do play drums, but can't touch Maiden! I would still trade my kids for that drum set...lol, not really, but it would have to think about it much longer than I should!

He’s gotten better as he’s gotten older which is astounding considering he plays at such a high level. He truly is a phenomenal player. I absolutely geek out on all the live stuff he he does…
Saw them in june last year in Norway. About 2 weeks after his 70th. Best he’s ever sounded, and I’ve seem them a few times. I feel he’s struggled with speeding up / slowing down too much live, even since donnington 92 etc. You can notice it most times they play Hallowed be thy name. But last year he was absolutely brilliant. Bruce was brilliant. It was all great. May they rock on for a long time😊

I LOVE THIS DRUMSET!!! Nicko McBrain inspires me to play drums aggressively, and the covers of the albums put me drawing for hours when I was a Kid... nowaday I have 2 limited picture disc Vinyls (Powerslave and Somewhere in Time) and I love the graphics of Eddie; can't belive that He have a diferent Eddie in each Tom, and the amazing way it looks, it's crazy; long live to this guys, long live IRON MAIDEN

Just love this man! First heard him when I was 16 and now i’m 55 and he is still the best! Growing up in the state of Maine all I knew was Vic firth drumsticks and that’s all I have ever used that’s so cool he uses the same manufacture that are made one hour from me! And yes we have always said the wood that comes from the trees in Maine have a voice. Great vid! He’s so funny!
I did too front row 91 or 92 ish also got to go on stage during and hang out backstage after the show with Nicko and steve ( I didnt talk to them), ended up playing the stick and discarding it after I broke it. Best part of the night was after the instrumental section of Two Minutes, I pumped my fist in the air, the only movement I probably made all night, and Steve who was near me mimicked me by doing the same thing right back to the crowd, it was a strange cool moment. This was about as crappy a venue as there ever was in the US (Compton Terrace, Firebird Lake outside Chandler AZ. It was a trailer for dressing room and a steel shell for lights.

What a kit!!!! Idea for the final drum behind the set, why dont you flash the Japanese image for LIFE on the big screens in conjunctiion with the lights and the drum hits, this way people get to see the image thats on the head!! Great craftsmanship!!

Fantastic kit for a fantastic drummer❤! One thing, i was there at the Bologna concert, but iron maiden didn't play becaude of bad weather. It would have been so good to see them and to see nicko play with this drum set
I saw the Power slave tour and one before that and my mind was blown both times. Love The band. Great drum video Nicko. Please come to Cleveland, Ohio on your tour so I can here this new kit and the rest of the band of course.
Love maiden , love Nicko he inspired me when I was 12 to start drumming 34 years later I'm still playing and my entire life changed because of Nicko , so thank you Nicko , you have no idea how you have pulled me back from the brink on more than one occasion ,if I could have one wish before I die it would be to own an exact replica of any of Nicko's set ups over the years , if anyone has one for sale in the UK ( at a sensible price) please msg me here and I'll get InTouch with my contact info .
Here's an idea. Put the kodo drum on a tilted mount so that the head gets a partial display. Obviously we don't want it falling on Nicko but push it back a bit and don't tilt it too much and have a mount that holds it in place.

Bologna! A lot of set up for nothing but whilst sad for the fans probably the safe decision. I'm not a drummer but Nicko is as engaging as ever. I was lucky enough to briefly meet Bruce, Steve and Nicko on a 'Bruce Air ' trip to Dublin back in 2003. By far and away Nicko was the man you'd have a pint with and not worry about what mood he might be in. A true gent!
