I figured from the very beginning the 60th would still be a multi-Doctor episode because the first trailer showed Ncuti “What the hell is going on here!”’ I just figured we were going to see the 15th Doctor on “the edge” inside the 14th Doctor’s mind, signifying that 14 isn’t quite right somehow & 15 was who he was meant to turn into. 7:21 I came up with a great new Doctor with old Doctor story idea years ago. Basically, we spend the entire episode with the current Doctor being helped by a terrified office IT worker, only for it to be discovered that this was a memory wiped new incarnation of The Doctor, only realised once the old regenerated.
Ive said this for years, but I want a series that is 2 doctors travelling together, and the main storyline is which is the current doctor and which doctor is the future incarnation. Both suffering from Regeneration sickness due to over-regenerating. Time running out. I dunno, would be very cool to see.
I think 14 and 15 are going to sort of talk to each other kind of like an mental chat, that way we as an audience can see who 15 is as an introduction, because lets be honest most people are here to see 14 (0r 10) and donna, after that the main audience are gone, so having the two talk would be interesting as well an way to introduce the character which would be something good... however I trust RTD and I am curious how this would go, what I want is; story, character and fun, that all I am after.
This would be the ultimate Wibbly Wobbly Timey-Wimey idea and I'm fully on board with it. It also could explain why we're getting alternating announcements for both Tennant and Ncuti Gatwa constantly.
Just noticed the Lego Batmen in the background :) Yeah I think the doctor's first onscreen appearance being fully realized would be *fantastic* :) Seeing Ncuti appear to help 14 being realized would help with selling him to the audience as The Doctor as well so they give him a chance. All the people returning to see Tennant and Donna will be curious about Ncuti more now and I assume like him, so they'll stick around for his series as well. A good marketing move from Russel T Davies if that was his plan. That being his job anyway to help revive the show after Chibnal.
After seeing so much of Ncuti in Sex Education where he plays a character that is nothing like the Doctor I’m so excited to see him in such a different role.
I feel like the sixtieth anniversary being fixing Donna aslong as it's done tastefully and logically I'm happy, Donna NEVER deserved that end, she never deserved to forget.
You make this transition structure sound so simple, logical, and good that I'm now afraid for the moment they're not adhering to this. Well, they could always ask you to take over, ha!
Fanservice?!!! He has already played 4 different Versions of the Doctor. His pre Journey's End, Up to End of Time, Meta and Timelord Victorious...Now added 14 and this is too much. And some Doctor's *6,7,8* didn't have screen time and instead give it to someone who 13 years ago, who is still playing the Doctor.
Also isn’t the only clip of Ncuti in the trailer showing him in 14’s costume? Suggesting he’s shown regenerating?? 15 even says what the hell is going on!! This clip could be entirely fake… but it suggests he’s not entering the story fully formed
Cannot wait for the 60th anniversary should be Fantastic!and love the fact you're going to release more doctor who videos, keep up the brilliant work mate.👌🍻😁
I don't see people talking about this, but in the Doctor Who Magazine 14 series (which RTD has confirmed canon) they don't give him any post-regeneration sickness. So I could see it getting ditched when 15 first appears
I saw a “leak” about a ‘binary regeneration’ where he regenerates and there’s suddenly just two of him at the same time. While I don’t really believe this, it could be an interesting way to do 15s regeneration story during the 60th.
this sounds great! unfortunately i dont think its going to happen, but it would be really cool if it did. and if this doesn’t happen, i hope it does one day. although that being said, it does sound like ncuti will have a more substantial role than we initially thought.
HECK YEASH, Please along With the other 2 videos we were waiting since Covid for!!! Please be soon for all 3 please?!!! I don't wanna wait 4 Years for it!!! *Unlike the other 2*
I like this but I don’t think it would happen, only bc the reason Tennant was brought in was that Ncuti couldn’t shoot for the 60th because of scheduling conflicts, and we’ve seen a clip of Ncuti in 14s costume (which also leads me to believe 14 is being manipulated by the celestial toy maker)
Me and a friend agreed that in our opinions that Russell will use The Guardians Of The Edge and be able to have 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 arguing and debating which to me would be awesome, I love the potential idea of 14 finally coming to terms with letting that appearance go and finally completing the regeneration that imo he intervened
One way to do a duel doctor is to play into the weird regeneration cycle. The doctor has given the tardis phone number to companions before and it’s had to connect their points in the doctors personal timeline so what if the 14th doctor causes confusion in the timeline connection and someone like Kate or Martha calls the doctor but when 14 is seen with the tardis Kate assume that’s the version of the doctor they were calling so we have the 15th doctor running around confused for a bit because they got called in, the 50th set the precedent in modern who that the doctor won’t remember a multi doctor adventure until the oldest involved has already experienced it so 15 might not remember the adventure until after it’s over.
This idea of the next doctor returning to aid the last reminds me of a fan theory I had back during 11's final season. The theory was: the inconsistencies with Clara were not casting and writing problems behind the scenes, but clues that Clara was actually a chameleon arch'ed 12th Doctor and that the Doctor had created a companion out of herself in order to see to it the 11th actually achieved a regeneration, ensuring she would exist at all. Obviously in this line of thinking, Smith would regenerate into Jenna Coleman where she would then go on to play the next doctor who would be a wildly different character from Clara. Classic bootstrap of Clara's identity coming about because the Doctor remembered it when it previously happened to them, which creates that identity that the past Doctor encounters and comes to remember. Honestly, I like my theory better than what actually happened. The danger of fan theories I suppose.
Fantastic! From your lips to RTD's ears... which wouldn't matter since the show is already shot, but still. Time travel? Hey -- do the American union strikes effect Doctor Who at all? I am pro-union all the way, but I also want my Doctor! I hope I can get it without anyone crossing any picket lines. Sigh. Great video, thanks!
Ngl this sounds somewhat interesting but I'm concerned that it could come off like Mel in Trial of a Time Lord where we have a companion from the future but it is just strange since we don't have a clue who she is.
Imagine if Donna and 14 were pinned against a wall, scared, moments from the episode ending, 14's hand moves along the wall before making contact with something unfamiliar. 15 looks 14 in the eyes and says "run." and the credits roll. I need to lay down for 45 minutes after thinking about that, no actually, a full hour!
While this would be a great idea I really really hope we get at least Matt back. 12 and the ponds would also be great. But hey there's 3 hours of content here I'm sure they could do both somehow. Also I do have to say though I still would like a regeneration story if they do this path. While certainly not necessary I think it would be really cool to see how Ncuti becomes the doctor we see in the 60th. It would be like those movies/shows who show you the ending right at the very beginning and leave you wondering throughout the whole thing what's going to happen to get there.
The idea of the watcher being a foreshadow of five arriving during four’s last story was a neat idea. I’ve always hoped they might have explored that again so maybe fourteen can do something similar for fifteen?
Can we start celebrating the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who NOW!!! November is a few months away but seems like FOREVER!!! I wanna see these episodes and see where they’re gonna take us.
Funny thing is we can do both with a fully formed companion and doctor relationship with Ruby and 15 in the 60th and still do the introduction and they could either build up to the moment that they go back to the 60th or just have it be something you know that is going to happen but we never see it like when Capaldi comes into the 50th (even though he clearly went in during deep breath)
okokok i know that this is so not relevant but did yall see ncuti in Barbie? Like, I saw him at the credits in the beginning, freaked out, and then just died laughing whenever he was on screen. I really loved the barbie movie all around but the doctor being in it really only enhanced it so much for me
I see the strike as a win-win. If the studios lose its a big screw you to big companies. If the writers lose than it’s a screw you to the overpaid bland woke crap that gets dumped on the audiences.
We know that RTD is good at just escalating the thrills (eg Daleks vs Cyberman) so perhaps in the 60th anniversary we get two new Doctors (the 15th Ncuti, and a totally unannounced new one from the Doctor's future timeline). Or the Celestial Toymaker (assumed to be Neil Patrick Harris) splits the 14th Doctor into two new regenerations (the 15th and 16th) and we go forward with two separate seasons each involving a new Doctor. I hope the specials come up with ideas like this or better.
Fun idea!: Ncuti shows up, but as a human pulled along for whatever adventure. He ultimately ends up sacrificing himself in some insanely noble way and when 14’s regeneration is triggered, he takes on his form. The doctor then has to grapple with the fact that every time he looks in the mirror, he’s reminded of that beautiful soul he failed to save. If this doesn’t happen, I’ll wipe the dust off my AO3 account 😂
I think Ncuti will be present in the final special or maybe sprinkled here and there all over the specials. I don't think they would've shown him in the trailers if his presence would've been limited to the last minutes of the anniversary. But I don't think he will have a lot to do. I think he was shooting "Barbie" when they were shooting specials. The promo materials that are all over the net and SDCC lately are not for the 60th Specials, so there probably won't be Ruby Sunday in Specials. The promo are for the episodes that we will get this year. And we will get Three Tennant specials in November and first Ncuti Christmas Special in December. So they are pretty close to each other, hence why promotion for the christmas special and new Doctor already started. But honestly, we don't have enough knowledge of anything what RTD is doing, so we all just speculating :D
I’m curious as to whether using ‘hitherto undreamt of’ came to you before the avengers clip or the clip inspired it. Like how did you you remember Tony saying that?
It was pretty clear to me from the info that I got that Tennant will be the only doctor during the 60th specials and Ncuti will take the lead from this xmas special onwards, maybe starting at the end of the last 60th special. Anyway, I dont care that much about whatever happens with the plot, I just hope the writing goes back to being good, that there are surprises, and completely ignores whatever happened in seasons 11-13. I miss liking doctor who.
While I'd love to see Capaldi come back, as he's my favourite doctor, but I doubt he'll come back due to the way he left the show. At the time Peter said he wanted to continue, but Chris Chibnall wanted to start with his own doctor. So there are rumours/theories that Capaldi didn't chose to leave and that he was fired, and that's why in recent interviews he's said that he's not coming back. Or maybe he did choose to leave and it'll be a big surprise when he and Matt Smith show up in the 60th
I’m honestly hoping for a story with a meta commentary on the show. Sure you have the tenth doctor (not really it’s fourteen but you get my point) and Donna back which for many is the dream team. Things though can’t go back to the way they were. People change and the Doctor has definitely changed depending on how you look at it. (1500 years or over 4.5 billion years). It would be a great way of respecting the past but a warning we should not try to make things like they were.
I doubt Ncuti will play a major role tbh. The whole reason they needed to push his series back is because he was unavailable to film because of Barbie. So I’d be very surprised if he plays a major role in any real capacity. As for 11 and 12, I’m not getting my hopes up. I’d absolutely love to see it but honestly I kind of want to keep my expectations low as to not get too disappointed when it inevitably doesn’t live up to my fan expectations
I think it’s a good idea but idk how they would end the 3rd special and lead into Ncutis doctor, like is it just gona end with us going off with Ncuti? Interesting
You could release Deep Breath's Video (12), Alongside Series 5 Essay (11) and the MCW (10) leading up to the 60th...I know the other 2 are but with Deep Breath would be really Cool!!!
@@FullFatVideos Everyone wants it. That scene did something to many people including myself. Also, you and many People are reminding me to *after some assignments* watch some Barbie.
@@FullFatVideosI'd imagine maybe the 15th doctor shows up to help bail the 14th doctor out of the scenario, but then goes back to having no idea what's happening, claiming it was just that one memory that resurfaced for him
I think if we see any other doctor it might be in the edge that we saw in power of the doctor because the background of where 15 asks what the hell is going on here? It looks like the edge to me but I could be wrong
I wish Capaldi had stayed for a 4th season, it felt like with season 10 the writers had finally figured out what they wanted to do with his character. Would have been nice to see that develop.
Eh, no, 9 was fully fromed from Rose. Between WD's regen into 9 at the end of TotD to Rose we don't actually know how much time passed, so we don't know if he did show up fully formed, no clothes choosing or anything, we didn't get to see that bit. If you're saying we should skip Ncuti's intro and just plop in with him being already setup, I completely disagree. We NEED to see his beginning and his meeting with Ruby, or YES, we WILL be lost, and have way too many questions.
The character posters for both David & Ncuti's Doctors give me an idea of how they're gonna be handled differently & I really can't wait any longer.

Wow thank you! And haha Idk I would certainly love to write an episode one day!!!
Well it looks like 15 and Ruby will debut in 2023 just instead of November its December.
Why didn't they just bring back David Tennant as the tenth doctor as opposed to making him the 14th?
“The 50th was ten years ago” I almost don’t believe you, but it’s true
Honestly, this makes so much sense. And I'm looking forward to Doctor Who thriving again as it did during 9th, 10th, and most of 11th Doctor eras.
That could be cool, either way I reckon we could see the two of them interacting
Lmao that leaked early
this sounds great! unfortunately i dont think its going to happen, but it would be really cool if it did.
and if this doesn’t happen, i hope it does one day.
although that being said, it does sound like ncuti will have a more substantial role than we initially thought.
Well… you were partly right so that’s a plus.
We are getting 15 for a Xmas Special this year!
Please make the Deep Breath video! That phone call scene is just **chef’s kiss**
Me and a friend agreed that in our opinions that Russell will use The Guardians Of The Edge and be able to have 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 arguing and debating which to me would be awesome, I love the potential idea of 14 finally coming to terms with letting that appearance go and finally completing the regeneration that imo he intervened
video starts at 2:50
I knew you’d come
One way to do a duel doctor is to play into the weird regeneration cycle.
I love your Doctor Who videos!
Thank you!!!
It's almost like Mel's introduction story. AND SHE'S BACK
Your Doctor Who videos are my favourite
Ngl this sounds somewhat interesting but I'm concerned that it could come off like Mel in Trial of a Time Lord where we have a companion from the future but it is just strange since we don't have a clue who she is.
I'm stoked for the 60th. I've been a fan since Christopher Eggleston's run and I can't wait
Me too!!!
Mate I WANT MATT SMITH!
Series 5 Smith is my favourite incarnation, but I’ve made peace with the idea he might not return till the 70th 😂😂
Well that aged well🙂
Imagine if Donna and 14 were pinned against a wall, scared, moments from the episode ending, 14's hand moves along the wall before making contact with something unfamiliar.
I would like to see Capaldi and Smith cameo.
I am sorry 😥 that Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi did not come back for 60th anniversary specials last year
The idea of the watcher being a foreshadow of five arriving during four’s last story was a neat idea.
I SWEAR this man is a whole profit!!
*prophet
10 Meta-crisis and 14 would be a neat idea imo
I'd have loved "The Six Doctors" but alas...
okokok i know that this is so not relevant but did yall see ncuti in Barbie? Like, I saw him at the credits in the beginning, freaked out, and then just died laughing whenever he was on screen. I really loved the barbie movie all around but the doctor being in it really only enhanced it so much for me
him mansplaining about stephen malkmus is one of the most underrated parts of the movie
gotta ask whats the music you use in the background of the video?
I wouldn't mind, as long as I see the regeneration
Ah, this has aged incredibly well
my initial thought was by the end of episode 2, 14 will regenerate to ncuti, but i like your idea better
I wish Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi and Christopher Eccleston came back in The 60th anniversary specials
The hat and glasses have given you a spring in your... stand!
I like it :)
It was quite fun to wear I’m ngl
Side note, but I kept staring at your wardrobe. It's a handsome piece, a real antique, no?
It is lovely!!! The door pops open quite regularly as you can see however 😂
Don't do that, don't give me hope
Hahahaha
I think it’s a good idea but idk how they would end the 3rd special and lead into Ncutis doctor, like is it just gona end with us going off with Ncuti? Interesting
I feel you the only one with thought it was capaldi that said “all 13” 😭
I am very happy to see that you had been corrected. No, sir, all _thirteen!_
You could release Deep Breath's Video (12), Alongside Series 5 Essay (11) and the MCW (10) leading up to the 60th...I know the other 2 are but with Deep Breath would be really Cool!!!
I’m really tempted to do the deep breath video next week tbh
@@FullFatVideos Everyone wants it. That scene did something to many people including myself.
Also, you and many People are reminding me to *after some assignments* watch some Barbie.
At they gonna fix the timeless child lol
It will probably never be mentioned again
Anyone else realise that even when he uses the actors real names (David, Ncuti, Millie) he still calls Catherine Donna? 13:49
Lol oops
a conjoined twin doctor would be fire
I thought the line was from Capaldi too
Right?!!
@@FullFatVideosI'd imagine maybe the 15th doctor shows up to help bail the 14th doctor out of the scenario, but then goes back to having no idea what's happening, claiming it was just that one memory that resurfaced for him
Heyyy Who's back!
I think if we see any other doctor it might be in the edge that we saw in power of the doctor because the background of where 15 asks what the hell is going on here? It looks like the edge to me but I could be wrong
W video
marble hornets video when?
I just wish we got 4 seasons per Doc. 3's are ok, but trilogies are so played out at this point, we need 4 per not 3.
I wish Capaldi had stayed for a 4th season, it felt like with season 10 the writers had finally figured out what they wanted to do with his character. Would have been nice to see that develop.
Solidarity to all the writers, actors and all other workers on Strike ✊️
I don’t really want ncuti just yet
Like I’m so excited for him and this he will be brilliant
But rather keep 60th about the past, not the future
Eh, no, 9 was fully fromed from Rose. Between WD's regen into 9 at the end of TotD to Rose we don't actually know how much time passed, so we don't know if he did show up fully formed, no clothes choosing or anything, we didn't get to see that bit. If you're saying we should skip Ncuti's intro and just plop in with him being already setup, I completely disagree. We NEED to see his beginning and his meeting with Ruby, or YES, we WILL be lost, and have way too many questions.
Wait, "No Sir, all thirteen!" Wasn't said by Capaldi? That kinda sucks actually...
there is no way this is true. The general says he didn’t know when he was well off with all 12 I don’t think he would say NO SIR to himself lol
@@callumf5013 It wasn't the General either, it was one of the many other men in the room
The Barbie bit… worth it.
