Jesus is coming soon. As in the days of Noah, the ark door shut. This closed the opportunity for any choosing salvation. As in the days of Lot, the city was destroyed. When Jesus comes back, he has to already know which are His in order to catch them up. Probation is not heretical teaching. It’s biblical teaching. God has given us many stories of the pattern.
Our Lord and God Jesus Christ will be with all who are saved till the end of life on earth or to eternity. The probation may the choice of believers now whether with Jesus or not. The true identity of a remnant church is written in the bible of which one can understand it easily. So simple that it did not need a further interpretation. According to SOP, there was many that was saved before the flood. They died before the flood. Only 8 was saved during the flood but there was a lot of people that was saved before the flood. Yes when Jesus stops intersession for us in heaven, and steps out of the Holy of holies, everyone's fate is sealed, because human probation has ended, because we all have been judged. But! When we die, before this time, our fate is sealed at our death.

When anyone dies their fate is sealed. There is no such thing as an Investigative Judgement that started in 1844. God is constantly observing, judging and sealing fates from the beginning to now, until all cross the veil from the physical to the spiritual realm.

There were also many who followed their own interpretations of His commands, and were not secure with God at their death. That's simple to believe, right? So at the time of Noah. Those who walked in the ways of the LORD were secured inside the ark, and those who refused God's invitation to be secure with Him, were lost and separated from Him because they preferred to believe things He had not commanded and their probation ended and found them on the wrong side at the end of their lives. Where do you find anything plainly stated in either Daniel or Revelation about a supposed "investigative judgement" or a "close of probation" or that the mark of beast is the worshipping God on Sundays? There is no mention from Genesis to Revelation about a "Sunday law." Neither is there any place in the Bible where people are persecuted for keeping the Sabbath. Same goes for the investigative judgement. My SDA friend, if you have any verses that clearly support these Adventist concepts, please provide them. Avoid theological "cheery picking" which is to pick and choose certain verses and assemble them into something not clearly stated in a straightforward reading of Scripture. No eisegesis allowed.
Wine was used for medicinal purposes but it wasn't a social drink or an after-dinner drink.. even Jesus didn't take the fermented wine when he had pain on the cross.

E.G.White seems to give 'grace' an extra-biblical definition of 'probation', according to what you keep saying...and The LORD's mercy is not based upon man's works, but only upon God's free grace and free will to bestow salvation on certain ones (Ps.149:4).

Grace and faith are offered to all men, until their last breath, as the thief on the cross gave witness. Grace/probation ends at death, or at the grieving of the Holy Spirit, but the final generation must endure that closing of the door of mercy before Chrsit comes, as in the days of Noah and lot, the people did not know tat when the door was closed they were lost until sudden destruction came upon them.

“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE”, says the Lord (Hosea 4:6). Why so ? Actually, in the first century A.D., the Apostles, led by the Holy Spirit, maintained and asserted firmly that there is ONE and ONLY ONE true church (Eph 4:4-6; Col 1:18; 1 Cor. 1:10-13). God has clearly stated in His divinely inspired Word that “divisions” have never and will never be part of His eternal glorious purpose (Gal. 5:19-21). Jesus always prayed for unity of faith, fellowship and doctrine (John 17:20-23). When the Christian Church was still united as one, its headquarters, meaning, its General Conference, were at Jerusalem. That is to say, the true church must have brothers who coordinate local church activities from one center. All decisions affecting local churches were made by a delegation of brothers representing fellow believers at Jerusalem and decisions were implemented in local churches (Acts 8:14-15; 15:1-6; 15:22-35). However, the Apostles kept saying that that purity would not last, i.e., a great “falling away” from the truth was going to occur within the Christian church worldwide. They kept rebuking false doctrines which were threatening to enter (Rom 16:17-18; 2 Pet 2:1-3; 3:1-3, etc). They never stopped sa ying that during their day “the mystery of iniquity” was already working in secret ! For example counterfeit christians had started teaching spiritual resurrection (2 Tim.2:17-18; 1 Cor 15:12). They were teaching false gospels (Gal. 1:6-9). They had started teaching even other filthy doctrines (1 John 4:1-3). But, the Bible says that that was just a beginning. During the time of John, the last apostle, things had become worse (Revel 2:6; 2:12-15). There had arisen even filthy doctrines known as doctrines of “nicolaitans”. That was the “mystery of iniquity” which had started building up in secret and imperceptibly ! If during the Apostles days the mystery had already started, what about today after 20 centuries following the Apostles death? Evidently, it must be at its climax ! Besides, the Apostles said that the day would come when the unity would collapse and a great aposyasy to be revealed within the Christian Church (2 The sal 2:7). But someone was “restraining” it. Who was that? The Bible says that the Apostles presence was “restraining” the great apostasy (Acts 20:29-30; 2 John 1:7-11). However, the Apostles would NOT live indefinitely. They would die. Now that they have died off, do we witness any divisions, sects, discordant voices and denominations within Christianity today? Absolutely YES. Sadly, today, the Apostles prohecy has come true (Jude 1:17-19)! During the centuries following the Apostles death, the great apostasy arose within the Christian Church. The pure, holy and undefiled truth taught by the Apostles was corrupted by counterfeit christians (Jude 1:4). Pagan worship, sun worship, and other impure practices started including SUN day worship, immortality of the soul and the infamous eternal torment doctrine to name just a few! These, and other false doctrines, were followed by persecution of those who stayed loyal to the true teachings of Jesus and his Apostles. However, later on, God started a process to gradually RESTORE his pure worship and original doctrines of the first century. He first called the European Reformers. The Reformers did part of the work but they didn't manage to restore everything (Proverbs 4:18). Nevertheless, the Protestant churches themselves did not make any progress to pick up from where the Reformers had left off after their death. Instead the Protestants maintained false doctrines and even went further to introduce new ones. They were guilty of the same error made by the APOSTATE Christianity before them. They had even relegated to the background major doctrines such as the Second Advent! Jesus had commanded anyone who wants to be true to God to be an “adventist”, waiting one (Luke 12:35-36). The Protestants had become worldly people and apostatized ! On the other hand, God had told Daniel in advance that the prophecies in his book were to come to be understood at “the time of the end”. The Bible clearly states that the time of the end would start after 1260 prophetic days. The Bible shows that the 1260 day period finished in 1798 AD. Knowledge of the prophesies was to be understood after 1798 A.D. !!! (Dan 12:4; 12:6-9). True to what Jesus had prophesied, “at the time of the end,” the signs of the end started to emerge (Mat 24:4-9; Luke 21:7-19; 21:25-28; Mark 13:3-13). These signs began to occur AFTER the great apostasy and persecution. From 1798 onward were in the “time of the end”. History is very clear. Go and research. Earthquakes, solar eclipses, falling of stars, wars including World War One & World War Two, etc, all started about 1798 onward. In addition to that, God had foretold about a group of “Bible researchers” which would be raised at the time of the end to restore God's truth (Revel 12:14-17) ! In His love, God designed to arouse all the world with those signs! At that time, a group of Bible researchers started to study their Bibles very earnestly in order to know the truth about what was taking place. God SLOWLY but SURELY led them to realize that they were already in “the time of the end” and that, as promised in the Bible, JUDGMENT had started in “God’s household” after the year 1798, namely in 1844 (1 Pet 4:17; Malachi 3:1-5; Dan 7:9-14; 8:11-14). They were also led to realize that many teachings in the numerous and confusing sects and groups of their day had originated from the GREAT APOSTASY ! At last, the Apostles truth was restored. From that time on the work of the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH had started, namely that of sounding the last warning to the “end time” generation (Revel 14:6-12). Mind you, the Bible says JUDGMENT would start with God’s household, His true church before extending to those outside. The Bible also clearly teaches that both “believers” and “unbelievers” are to be judged (2 Cor 5:10). Additionally, the Bible is very clear that when Jesus returns, the righteous dead and those alive will be “caught up” in the air to meet Christ in the clouds. When will they have been judged ? The Bible is very clear on this point as well. It answers that question beyond any reasonable doubt! Believers are judged BEFORE Jesus comes back ( Matt 22:1-14; Malachi 3:1-5). This is known as the pre-Advent Judgment or Investigative Judgment. Besides, there is a testing, a shaking or sifting that is going on in the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST church (Revel. 3:16) ! The chaff is being shaken out ! Oh Lord, how compelling and undeniable that TRUTH is ! That truth is but INVINCIBLE ! What other Church on earth is teaching that TRUTH? None at all ! Only the Seventh-day Adventist Church !!! All the same, APOSTATES are spreading false poisonous lies and aiding and abetting their father the Devil in trying to smear God's truth ! Why so? Basically, today the Devil has enslaved many minds ( John 8:40-44)! They are clearly serving their father the Devil and are carrying out whatever he bids them to do!!! Prophecy has been fulfilled on some like Judas Iscariot. It was prophesied that “at the time of the end” (from 1798 onwards), some would depart from among us and take the path of Cain, who was of the Devil ( Juda 1:11; 1:17-19). It is no wonder then that accusers are after us ! Since time immemorial, whenever God raised up His servants to preach the TRUTH, Satan raised up his apostates to oppose the work and sow confusion (Exodus 7:8-11; Acts 13:8; 2 Timothy 3:6-8; Acts 19:1-19). No wonder, then, that impostors and demon-possessed apostates are confusing people today by spreading demonic filthy lies ! As a warning to THOSE REBELLING AGAINST THE CREATOR, they should come back to their senses and repent from their insanity! They ought to stop collaborating with Satan and his demons, the chief apostates ! Some keep spreading satanic poisonous lies! I HEARTILY APPEAL TO THOSE WHO ARE REBELLIOUS TO GOD’S TRUE CHURCH TO COME BACK TO THE CREATOR OF HEAVENS AND EARTH. Based on the Bible, THEY are in danger (2 Peter 3:15-16). According to SOP, there was many that was saved before the flood. They died before the flood. Only 8 was saved during the flood but there was a lot of people that was saved before the flood. Yes when Jesus stops intersession for us in heaven, and steps out of the Holy of holies, everyone's fate is sealed, because human probation has ended, because we all have been judged. But! When we die, before this time, our fate is sealed at our death.

Will you please give an explanation in your reply.Many of those died before flood were saved.Like wise many died before Jesu's return are also saved. Then what is point in the closing of probation for a while.Are you saying that after closing of probation no body will be saved till Jesus appeared in heaven.I don't have a clue.
When anyone dies their fate is sealed.
There is no such thing as an Investigative Judgement that started in 1844.
God is constantly observing, judging and sealing fates from the beginning to now, until all cross the veil from the physical to the spiritual realm.

Before the flood, there were people who believed God and walked in His ways according to His commands and died in obedience. They were secure in God. There were also many who followed their own interpretations of His commands, and were not secure with God at their death. That's simple to believe, right? So at the time of Noah. Those who walked in the ways of the LORD were secured inside the ark, and those who refused God's invitation to be secure with Him, were lost and separated from Him because they preferred to believe things He had not commanded and their probation ended and found them on the wrong side at the end of their lives. There's nothing more terrifying than to miss out on the grace of God's protection by thinking we know better than the plain commands of the Creator of the universe. Our lives are our probation, we are proving daily whether we believe the LORD or ourselves. So what's our only hope? Pray for the Holy Spirit of God to correct our thinking and bring our lives into His will, not our will. Then and only then we will remain secure in the ark of obedient faith in God's every word.
When Jesus lays aside His priestly robe, and puts on His kingly robe right before His return, there will be no more changing of our minds. Then He will return for those who have prepared for Him. Those who try any other way, will be like the multitude outside the ark. God tried to save them, but they preferred another way, and Jesus said that He is the Way. Every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God redeems us, cleanses us, matures us and saves us, we dare not neglect so great a salvation.

What if the probation has been closed now? What if we are now at the "7 days period" before the flood?

Where do you find anything plainly stated in either Daniel or Revelation about a supposed "investigative judgement" or a "close of probation" or that the mark of beast is the worshipping God on Sundays?
There is no mention from Genesis to Revelation about a "Sunday law." Neither is there any place in the Bible where people are persecuted for keeping the Sabbath. Same goes for the investigative judgement.
My SDA friend, if you have any verses that clearly support these Adventist concepts, please provide them. Avoid theological "cheery picking" which is to pick and choose certain verses and assemble them into something not clearly stated in a straightforward reading of Scripture. No eisegesis allowed.

E.G.White seems to give 'grace' an extra-biblical definition of 'probation', according to what you keep saying...and The LORD's mercy is not based upon man's works, but only upon God's free grace and free will to bestow salvation on certain ones (Ps.149:4).
His grace is ‘free’ to those who accept it. No one is forced to accept. We accept his grace through faith. Our faith is demonstrated by our actions.

Everlasting love is not probation. God's mercy endureth forever, and He knows His own. Grace and faith are offered to all men, until their last breath, as the thief on the cross gave witness. Probation is not a biblical word, and implies divorce, which God hates...so this doctrine of error is not biblical. 'Fear Him that can destroy both body and soul in Hell' is biblical.

Grace/probation ends at death, or at the grieving of the Holy Spirit, but the final generation must endure that closing of the door of mercy before Chrsit comes, as in the days of Noah and lot, the people did not know tat when the door was closed they were lost until sudden destruction came upon them.

Apostle Paul does beseech believers to 'receive not the grace of God in vain' as 'now is the day of salvation' (2Cor.6:1,2).
Grace is not probation concerning the Faith, but there is the notion of neglecting 'so great salvation' and 'space to repent' (Rev.2:21,22, Heb.2:3). And, the Parable of the 10 Virgins makes it a point of wisdom to not neglect 'buying' the necessary oil 'of gladness', and buying the Truth 'as it is in Jesus', but the 'invented' investigative judgment is not biblical, as Paul teaches that, we that are truly in Christ are already, in a spiritual sense, 'quickened together with Christ, by (grace ye are saved;) AND GRACE IS NOT PROBATION, And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus' (Eph.2:5,6).
When a Christian understands this reality, he sees that there is no such thing as "probation" for those 'married' to Christ (Rom.7:4).

“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE”, says the Lord (Hosea 4:6). Why so ?
Actually, in the first century A.D., the Apostles, led by the Holy Spirit, maintained and asserted firmly that there is ONE and ONLY ONE true church (Eph 4:4-6; Col 1:18; 1 Cor. 1:10-13). God has clearly stated in His divinely inspired Word that “divisions” have never and will never be part of His eternal glorious purpose (Gal. 5:19-21). Jesus always prayed for unity of faith, fellowship and doctrine (John 17:20-23).
When the Christian Church was still united as one, its headquarters, meaning, its General Conference, were at Jerusalem. That is to say, the true church must have brothers who coordinate local church activities from one center. All decisions affecting local churches were made by a delegation of brothers representing fellow believers at Jerusalem and decisions were implemented in local churches (Acts 8:14-15; 15:1-6; 15:22-35).
However, the Apostles kept saying that that purity would not last, i.e., a great “falling away” from the truth was going to occur within the Christian church worldwide. They kept rebuking false doctrines which were threatening to enter (Rom 16:17-18; 2 Pet 2:1-3; 3:1-3, etc).
They never stopped sa ying that during their day “the mystery of iniquity” was already working in secret ! For example counterfeit christians had started teaching spiritual resurrection (2 Tim.2:17-18; 1 Cor 15:12). They were teaching false gospels (Gal. 1:6-9). They had started teaching even other filthy doctrines (1 John 4:1-3). But, the Bible says that that was just a beginning.
During the time of John, the last apostle, things had become worse (Revel 2:6; 2:12-15). There had arisen even filthy doctrines known as doctrines of “nicolaitans”. That was the “mystery of iniquity” which had started building up in secret and imperceptibly !
If during the Apostles days the mystery had already started, what about today after 20 centuries following the Apostles death? Evidently, it must be at its climax !
Besides, the Apostles said that the day would come when the unity would collapse and a great aposyasy to be revealed within the Christian Church (2 The sal 2:7). But someone was “restraining” it. Who was that? The Bible says that the Apostles presence was “restraining” the great apostasy (Acts 20:29-30; 2 John 1:7-11).
However, the Apostles would NOT live indefinitely. They would die. Now that they have died off, do we witness any divisions, sects, discordant voices and denominations within Christianity today? Absolutely YES. Sadly, today, the Apostles prohecy has come true (Jude 1:17-19)!
During the centuries following the Apostles death, the great apostasy arose within the Christian Church. The pure, holy and undefiled truth taught by the Apostles was corrupted by counterfeit christians (Jude 1:4). Pagan worship, sun worship, and other impure practices started including SUN day worship, immortality of the soul and the infamous eternal torment doctrine to name just a few! These, and other false doctrines, were followed by persecution of those who stayed loyal to the true teachings of Jesus and his Apostles.
However, later on, God started a process to gradually RESTORE his pure worship and original doctrines of the first century. He first called the European Reformers. The Reformers did part of the work but they didn't manage to restore everything (Proverbs 4:18).
Nevertheless, the Protestant churches themselves did not make any progress to pick up from where the Reformers had left off after their death. Instead the Protestants maintained false doctrines and even went further to introduce new ones. They were guilty of the same error made by the APOSTATE Christianity before them.
They had even relegated to the background major doctrines such as the Second Advent! Jesus had commanded anyone who wants to be true to God to be an “adventist”, waiting one (Luke 12:35-36). The Protestants had become worldly people and apostatized !
On the other hand, God had told Daniel in advance that the prophecies in his book were to come to be understood at “the time of the end”. The Bible clearly states that the time of the end would start after 1260 prophetic days. The Bible shows that the 1260 day period finished in 1798 AD. Knowledge of the prophesies was to be understood after 1798 A.D. !!! (Dan 12:4; 12:6-9).
True to what Jesus had prophesied, “at the time of the end,” the signs of the end started to emerge (Mat 24:4-9; Luke 21:7-19; 21:25-28; Mark 13:3-13). These signs began to occur AFTER the great apostasy and persecution. From 1798 onward were in the “time of the end”. History is very clear. Go and research. Earthquakes, solar eclipses, falling of stars, wars including World War One & World War Two, etc, all started about 1798 onward. In addition to that, God had foretold about a group of “Bible researchers” which would be raised at the time of the end to restore God's truth (Revel 12:14-17) !
In His love, God designed to arouse all the world with those signs! At that time, a group of Bible researchers started to study their Bibles very earnestly in order to know the truth about what was taking place. God SLOWLY but SURELY led them to realize that they were already in “the time of the end” and that, as promised in the Bible, JUDGMENT had started in “God’s household” after the year 1798, namely in 1844 (1 Pet 4:17; Malachi 3:1-5; Dan 7:9-14; 8:11-14). They were also led to realize that many teachings in the numerous and confusing sects and groups of their day had originated from the GREAT APOSTASY !
At last, the Apostles truth was restored. From that time on the work of the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH had started, namely that of sounding the last warning to the “end time” generation (Revel 14:6-12).
Mind you, the Bible says JUDGMENT would start with God’s household, His true church before extending to those outside. The Bible also clearly teaches that both “believers” and “unbelievers” are to be judged (2 Cor 5:10).
Additionally, the Bible is very clear that when Jesus returns, the righteous dead and those alive will be “caught up” in the air to meet Christ in the clouds. When will they have been judged ?
The Bible is very clear on this point as well. It answers that question beyond any reasonable doubt! Believers are judged BEFORE Jesus comes back ( Matt 22:1-14; Malachi 3:1-5). This is known as the pre-Advent Judgment or Investigative Judgment. Besides, there is a testing, a shaking or sifting that is going on in the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST church (Revel. 3:16) ! The chaff is being shaken out !
Oh Lord, how compelling and undeniable that TRUTH is ! That truth is but INVINCIBLE ! What other Church on earth is teaching that TRUTH? None at all ! Only the Seventh-day Adventist Church !!!

The Remnant that he just spoke about are Jews .spoken of in the beginning of Romans 11, the same people that he's speaking about in Zechariah Chapter 13 to last of the chapter . he's not speaking of Gentiles Saints. but they will continue to teach; their going to go through the Great Tribulation, because they don't know better!
