    Exactly
There's an old saying sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.
I believe that is the biggest lie we tell ourselves because words do hurt so choose your words carefully.

The word problem was replaced with alternative opportunities , many years ago in my life.
To this day I don't understand why people always complain..there is so much joy in finding an alternative!

Language matters, even unspoken words and thoughts that we direct to ourselves! It is empowering to think, we can truly be intentional with the words we choose to use. Most probably, we can see how we feel as we use them. Will try to be more conscious about the use of my language. Thanks Jim!! You always inspire me 🙏🏼

It is pretty interesting how the language we use can impact us. Same for mindfulness, just identifying that you are feeling a certain way can really rein it in.

Yes, words matter so much…when you said that one can be “their own Sovereign, if you will…” I was disturbed. A Sovereign, one whom sets the standard. So any individual is technically not a sovereign.
This language of seeing oneself as a sovereign pushes the mind further and further into the ego-driven, self-centered mentality that is not only undesirable, but damaging to the self and to society. Self-driven and self-concerned lives are something that all decent people will eschew, not dive deeper into.
Maybe your intent was to say that we have personal power, to harness, rather than what I just mentioned, and I hope so. Words matter.

I agree with everything, but the potential danger with that last one about travel, is that some people only rack up destinations, exotic foreign things to eat. Do they really learn anything about the history and culture of the place, or are they just simply consuming things endlessly for sense pleasures?
My ex used it as a way to look down on others. Anyone who traveled less than she did was inferior and "American". So she had a perspective from travel, but it was very privileged and twisted.

He visited to most famous collage of the city for interogation. He found that only this collage is having very much sucide rates just because of still not found any reason. He could not say that pressure because of studies is actually reason. If it is. Then why only this collage in this city. In most of the cities many collages and schools have same issues. But this collage had some different patterns about sucide rates. It involve some special campus and weird way of killing self. Who can think about it? May be no one. May be it is an haunted case. But could not be said easily anything about it. But if here is haunted thing about it. Then may be any spirit will definately either stop it or guide him for searching the truth. But before knowing the truth there is complex path to it. But who knows what is next. Really no one.
