I could not have passed through college without her help! When I was about ready to give up, I watched and listened to her explanations of why, how, and etc...of coding. I would eventually try again. I finally graduated and became certified as an Insurance Biller and Coder! I still have days I need to understand more though. I am only an apprentice at best. Bless her for her help at no charge! A real treat and needed blessing. I want to thank her so much for her efforts to all of us coders.
Currently going to school for Billing & Coding and your videos have helped me so much. Thank you, thank you for breaking all of your lessons down the way you do to make them easier to understand. You are an ANGEL!!!
This video and channel is EXACTLY what I NEEDED to get the complete UNDERSTANDING of E&M coding👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾💕 Much obliged to you for your teachings Coach!!!
Passed CCS-P in first attempt, strongly recommend as a most effective yet "free" coaching for CCS-P exam preparation, along with going over each chapter specific guidelines thoroughly.
I have watched a number of your videos for research. Your in depth review has reassured me of possible success. You played a major role in my decision to start training to work from home. Thanks
THANK YOU for these videos! I am in an accredited HIM program at Vincennes U. in Indiana online and starting cpt coding and getting NO instruction from my teacher on how to use this book. so thank you you are a huge help!
Thank you for doing these videos. I like how you explain things and relied on your information to supplement my studying. I really appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share in a clear and concise manner. I am happy to say I just passed my CCS!
I just want to say thank you CodeMaster Coach!! Your videos are great!! I am currently taking an online classes in Health Information Management and have been struggling to get an understanding of some of the concepts. I am so glad that I found your videos because your break stuff down just the way that I need it to be!! I am now ready to take my final exam and ace it!!
You are amazing! Thank you so much for doing what you do. I wish I found you sooner. You're making sense of all the confusion I have about coding. I know one day it will all makes sense. ;-)
I just discovered you here. I want to change my profession. Currently I work in a factory. I am 44 yrs old and factory work is just wearing my body down. 5 yrs ago I was in a college setting learning billing and coding. The problem is the school I was going to was not accredited. I found that out and dropped out. I still want to be a billing and coding professional. What would be my best way to get a CCS? And once I have that certification, how do you go about getting my first job. Most or all companies want experience. How do you get that experience when no one will give you that experience or a chance to prove you are qualified.
Sandra Karl, I feel your frustration. First, I would recommend sitting for the CPC exam. That is an introduction certification. The CCS recommends 3 years experience. With the CPC, you can work in coding to get the experience to sit for the CCS. Also, I would recommend volunteering at an organization that you are interested in working at so that you hear about positions before they get posted. This will also allow you to get your name in the minds of the people hiring. My last recommendation and requesting to be able to test into a position since you do not have experience. Newly trained coders tend to be knowledgeable about new coding guidelines. So, request to be able to test into the position.
Thaank you CodeMaster Coach for these wonderful details. Please, you lost me at the end of your response to Sandra Karl, when you said, " My last recommendation and requesting to be able to test into a position since you do not have experience." What is test into a new position ?

For most coding positions, they will require you to take a test at your interview. So, be prepared and take your own books. If they try to say you don't have enough experience, request to be able to take their test for employment. Their employment test is usually samples of cases that they code daily or for the position that you are applying for.
I enjoy your videos. I am learning alot. However when it comes to E/M I did not pass a test. is there anyways you could send me copys of your notes for the CPT coding please. I am in my last class and struggling.
Hello it look like we can rewind the video, can you fix this please. you can only start over, think it would be helpful if student can rewind while watching and not have start over from the beginning. Thank you.
If I start your program today and spend 30 hours and up to studying can you give me an approximate length of time it would take me to complete? I appreciate your help so much and was wondering if you accept donations for your time and effort?
Katy Dyson, it is going to take me at least 8-12 months to cover everything that I need to in order to have you ready to sit for certification because I can only do so much through RUclips. In order to be fair to everyone across the board, I do not accept donations. I do prepare Lesson Plans that you can subscribe to for practice exercises that will assist your learning. Thanks,
