You explain things so well. You break it down and make it so simple. There's no question lleft--you make it very understandable and present several examples. Thank you so much. You have a great talent for teaching and an even greater one for caring.
Found you and am loving how you break everything down. I’ve been in the medical field for a while now and am now looking to go into coding and billing. You’re an awesome coach and you’re right, I have a lot of catching up to do! Again, thank you for doing this!!
Thank you for doing these videos. I just graduated from DeVry University and our professor recommend your channel. I am preparing to take my CCA exam and thought this would be helpful for studying along with my review.
Hi my name is Lizmary i just finish my classes Devry university what is the best way to study my domain and pass my CCA test thanks so much your video are very helpful
I am thanking GOD for u! U r the best teacher I've ever seen. The way u break everything down is SO easy to understand, u have no idea how thankful I am I found u/ur channel!! God bless u.
You explain things so thoroughly. I am more of a auditory learner and I am so grateful that I have been blessed to have you as an instructor. I am confident that by the time I am ready to take the exam I will be more than prepared....
I wish I had you as a teacher or you was making videos back then when I went to coding school in 2009! You make it so simple to learn! It was hard back then without much help from the instructors You are a god sent for new coders!
Thank you so much for the videos.I am so lost. I am a certified MAM, and now I am taking online Mdical billing and Coding at the same time studying for X-ray . I have no idea what to do except staring the ICD 10 book. Now that I found your videos, I know how to read the ICD 10 book. Thank you for giving me hope.
Thank You so much CodeMaster Coach. I'm so thankful to have found you. Im taking coding certificate class online, and you just clarified this information, so well. My light bulb clicked. (I was about to cry before I found your page) Please don't stop!!!!
I would like to thank you for the all your help. I have been studying with the CareerStep program and not really understanding it. This has been a big help. I was going to give up but, thanks to these videos I have a better understanding of the program. Thank you so much for all you do. Don't stop.
This has been a huge help. I too am in the medical coding program from Career Step and this so made it so much easier to understand this big intimidating book. Thank you Thank you.!
Thank you so much for making these videos! I'm doing the medical coding program through Career Step and this is very helpful with reinforcing the information.
I am so grateful to find you. Thank you for all the helpful info. I process medical claims for 8 years now I would like to go into coding. I have a BS degree in Accounting, helpful some of my credits will transfer to my coding degree. Have a bless evening and again Thank you
I have took the Nation Exam 1 time and failed! I'm scheduled to take it again in April and these videos are by far the best. I wish I would of known about these a long time ago. You explain into great detail. Thank you, thank you, thank you :)
Thank you so much!!!! I’m taking notes and eager to learn! I’m so thrilled that I found your channel. I was going to borrow money and go back to school, but you are such a terrific teacher, I think I will watch your videos and take the test.
Thanks Master Coach, I took a Medical Billing and Coding coarse at Community College and passed the exam. The coarse seemed so rushed I know there's a lot I still need to learn. So thank you for your video's they truly help.
Thank you so much for your videos I'm wanting to choose a new career path ...currently I am a pharmacy technician of 15 years but our facility is closing ...ready to take the next step!
Thanks so very much I have just found your channel a couple of months ago and I am watching everyone of your videos so I can teach myself coding in a more in depth level so I can get my certification.
OMG you are a God sent thanks so much for all you help I'm taking a class for my job they are actually paying for me to learn how to do coding and to get my credentials but the teacher I have can't teach and she is getting paid from the job to teach but she confuses me and the whole class your video's are actually helping me get through this class without having a nervous breakdown I can't thank you enough may God bless you for doing this.
Was praying for a coding tutor . I look forward to learning more, as new nephrology biller - inpatient. Your guidance will help me grasp the coding concept, soon will look towards certification. Thank you.
I plan to start Andrews school next month (may). I am watching your videos and taking notes. I love the way you simplify everything. I have also subscribed to your channel. Thanks a bunch!!
I am so grateful for your videos! Sometimes I need more instruction than others around me and your teaching style answers those needs. Thank you so much! I am actually still in the process of researching possible careers and wanting more information before getting student loans or committing to something that might not suit me. I'm watching these videos to find out if this is a possibility for me. If I do go on in this field I hope I can get a teacher like you.
I like you style here...so beautiful...I like your blouse...thought I'd like to add that...but I am listening attentively :) This video is very informative to me especially when you gives examples to explain categories or more specificity of the main term or sub term...I appreciate all the info...thanks! :)
+CodeMaster Coach I just got my notebook today because it looks like we are diving right on in with this stuff. after watching the conventions video, I knew now is definitely the time to start having a notebook. I'm on it.
Hi, coach! I went through the coding and billing program at Remington college, Shreveport, LA. I earned my diploma (+4.0) in '09. I know... I'm here as a late effect. I had a horrible time finding employment after graduation despite the job placement program my school had in place, my transcripts, being a CPC-A, and, what I thought was, a very good interview process. Since then I have had a few (very few) part time medical office jobs, waited tables, but mostly, I have been a stay at home mom. I just received my new set of coding books... updated for the icd 10 series... yay!!!! and am here for a refresher. My question is, do you have any advice for someone who has a good grasp of coding in theory, but not so much in practice, for finding employment. Either at an office or from home. Where would you suggest I look once I get recertified. This is something I have passion for. I am eager not only to find work, but also, to further my education. Thank you so much, stacy
Stacy Stroker, try Googling "Remote Coding Jobs". Would you believe I did that when I decided to work from home and I found a job? Also, I did not have to leave my home at all for the interview process. I did have to take an online test to prove my proficiency, but the interviews (2), were by phone and I still work that job. I love it!
I'm a new subscriber. I just found your chanel. It's very helpful I'm thinking of taking the course. Thank you so much for explaining everything in detail I'm thinking of taking the course
Question: why place a code in the sub category when there is a more detailed sub sub category code? If we have to keep moving down why even put a category code unless it's the ending result? This just confuses me a little. Maybe I'm just tired and it'll hit me tomorrow morning lol. Just thought I'd ask =) still super glad I found you.
Because the sub sub category gives greater specificity. Some codes previously stopped at the subcategory but with extension of the code, and better diagnoses, we can now code with greater specificity by the sub sub category.
I have been looking into this off and on for a few years now.I was wondering if you have to take classes for it, or if it’s possible to learn by these videos and then take the test to certify?
Hello, I am doing the coding course through my community college in REading Pennsylvania, I have question, if I need to code two diseases together for example, Malaria with Hepatitis what do I do?
I have a few questions, could a delay in pain (Sequela) be as little as a week? I'm thinking if a person was in an automobile accident. A pinched nerve or muscle pain may be felt at a later time. Would an occluded AVF be a complication, it's not using an actual graft but is a procedure done for dialysis just the same. Would a stent/bypass be complications even if its a reoccurring stenosis, or perhaps scar tissue?
Hi CodeMaster Coach, can you help me understand how to code from the neoplasm chart, and also breakdown the injuries, maybe some examples. Hypertension has been a little confusion as well. Thanks so much for what you do.
Thanku coding master this is first time m watching your video I am doing associate degree in medical coding and billing from Phoenix uni I have to do my assignment which is about index and tubular list why we need them
Is there a faster way to look up code want it take a long time looking up this codes for the certification. I here most people don't finish the test so that why they fail
Valerie Sanders, the key is practice. With practice you can find codes quicker. You will know right where to look in your code book and can assign the code. But, it takes lots of practice.
After looking up the code in the Alphabetic Index and then viewing the code in Volume 1, you confirm additional digits are not required, then assign code.
@@codemastercoach6636 ok thank you so much. how would i determine first listed diagnosis. How do I figure that one out. Can you please make a video on that so me and my classmates can listen to it please.
thank you code master coach for your wonderful videos, am new here, and I started watching your videos from the beginning. Please my question is that what is a carry over line? thankx as I wait for your response.
Welcome Aboard adebisi tinuola. A carry over line is a line of information that was too long to fit on one line in the Alphabetic Index that it had to be carried over to the next line before it stated the code.
The example of Metrorrhagia...why would there be a code next to that term when excessive bleeding has to come from somewhere. I understand the codes in the sub term because it explains where the excessive bleeding is coming from but in what case would you just code the term metrorrhagia only?
When that is all that your physician gives you. If the physician is not specific in his diagnosis, you can't be specific in your coding. (physician may not know what is causing or where bleeding is coming from).
Watching these 6 years later because you explain better than the program I’m in!❤️❤️
Thank you Jessica Garza.
Me as well. It’s a shame I’m learning more in this short video than the class I’m in too.

very helpful thanks
I am stuck with pathology some codes says out of numerical sequence. I email you too.how to handle these kind of codes
Where do I find the volume # to give you to be able to get your electronic notes on that video?
At the end of my videos that have Lesson Plans, I state a Volume # to request.
My brother died after an appendectomy, I never thought about having to potentially code that...
You will be amazed what you will learn about that procedure when you start coding it k "kvol"Vol.
Who determines the monitory worth of a code? Billing?
Third-party payors (ex. BCBS, Medicare/aid, etc.)

It's very helpful write now I am working for revenue collection management could you please suggest courses for boosting my carrier in medical billing
How can you become more familiar with the medical terms so you can find them easier in the alphabetical index?
Practice, practice and more practice Dalva Guzman. That is why a Medical Terminology course is required to do medical coding.
Is there a faster way to look up code want it take a long time looking up this codes for the certification. I here most people don't finish the test so that why they fail

😂😂 Its Like Living in The Matrix...everything has a code👏😎
Yes Ma'am.
What s the purpose of using those index and tubular lists
The Alphabetic Index is to look up the code and the Tabular List is to confirm your code.
can you ecplain to me how do I determine what is the "main term" in the sentence so i can determine which code to use.
The main term is the condition that is wrong. For example, in the diagnoses "BREAST MASS", Mass is the main term because Mass is what is wrong.
@@codemastercoach6636 ok thank you so much. how would i determine first listed diagnosis. How do I figure that one out. Can you please make a video on that so me and my classmates can listen to it please.
Hi
What is the difference between the volume 1 code and alphabet intex code....? Pls reply to me
Alphabetic Index is where you start by looking up the code and then Volume 1 is where you go to view the code.
@@codemastercoach6636 we can't use alphabet intex code for Medical Coding....?
