Thanks everyone for watching. Check out the competition winner's entry here: ruclips.net/video/ApFkkTHIdWg/видео.html Congratulations, @orencloud - a stunning piece of art, and very well deserved!
The shot at 4:32 is really unique. I don't know why but it caught my attention. Of course there's a lot of good stuff throughout but that really made me stop and think.
Final scene where everything starts floating do to the gravitational pull of the other planet/moon makes me curious. Without a net upward force of those object being applied they would never just float away from the other moon. They would experience a reduced gravitational force by the body they are already on. But they wouldn’t float away would they? Anyone have the math on that one. And I mean heuristics, don’t need the universal gravitational constant BS.
What a great question. What I was thinking about was scenarios like where a black hole 'eats' a star, or, where one star eats another. The moon may be smaller than the planet, but my thinking was that if it was more massive, what would happen if it was suddenly moved close (as in, within the atmosphere) next to the planet? Could its gravitational force overcome the local force? In my mind, it seemed plausible. What do you think? As an aside, I wish I'd had a lot more time to work on those scenes because I didn't feel like there was enough done to make it seem more 'natural' or believable. 😅
I.....don't.....get it. What happened? What is the story? Is there a story? Or is it just to show different types of effects and animations in Unreal Engine?
No dialogue. No plot. Decent CGI and sound effects. The whispers and too-close moon were just confusing. There’s no story here. Why spend so much time and effort (and skill) and fail to communicate?
Hey mate, I'm currently working on a 'making of' video. Hopefully this will answer your questions! 🙏 Thanks very much for watching and also the feedback; most appreciated.

I read your self critique, I have to disagree. This was visually gratifying and suspenseful.
Excellent work
看來傳奇記憶重新打開了。引接到外星
Amazing work, completely captivating. Great sound design and music as well!
Thank you boss! Had the guitar synth out for the opening number.
D”un réalisme stupéfiant ❤
Came across by accident - this is fantastic - very well done. Plus, your use of sfx and music is great.
Thanks for the kind words mate. Would have loved some more time to polish everything up properly 😅

A great piece with immersive audio and spectacular visuals.
Cheers boss!
WOW! That is by far the best one I have seen yet. There is no dialog the whole time, and it's not needed. It's absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much!
A decent preview of something...

Easily the best one I have seen, my god.

Gent has a gamey right leg... part of the plan?
Another 'let's see what we can do with this software ' iteration

I don't think it would float so evenly
@@carlyman77 floating away really is just falling up (with style) I guess.
Yeah I'd agree with that - would have loved these shots to be more chaotic. Quite a bit above my skill level though! 😅
Exactly how I was thinking about it too!
Parabéns e obrigado pelo filme.
Thank you mate! ❤️
great design work but it just looks like super mario in the future
Intergalactic space plumbing 😉
Y la historia de la tierra ya no estará en los libros ni en las piedras, estará en los cielos.
Nice! ❤️
It looks like something from 1995

I used mostly Megascans assets to build the environment. The buildings and props are mostly KitBash3D 🤘

So what's the story
Hey mate, I'm working on a 'making of' video; hopefully that will answer your question 🙏
Apex legends 5 years from now! Great vid!
Thanks boss!
