I grew up going to Opryland, and Chaos was my favorite coaster. After it closed, I figured out that Revolution was Chaos' sister coaster and had to ride it. I finally made it in 2013, and it was one of the best days I've ever had in a park. The park manager and staff were SO nice to me and made sure I had an amazing day since I'd traveled from the US to visit. The ride op at Revolution kept letting me ride without walking around, and he kept trying to show me different variations of the ride (all lights off, no sound, alternate sounds, etc). It was fantastic and I just cannot speak highly enough about how nice he was. When I left, one of the staff even offered to give me a ride to the train station so I wouldn't miss my train. I'm still friends on Facebook with two of the staff members I met that day! This park holds such a special place in my heart. I'm so glad you both enjoyed your day and have showcased it so nicely.
Revolution is actually getting a retheme for the start of the 2024 season, it's gonna be themed to like a time machine or a jungle or something so looks like you'll have to come back to belgium😂
hi there! i'm the youngest son of bart and wendy that was there as well! it was great meeting you in person! hope you can find a good place for the piece :D
Nice to finally meet you in Bobbejaanland and that you 2 took the Time for a little chat. Thanks for the warning for the incorrect waiting time of typhoon. We did a night ride instead. Keep on vlogging! ❤
Great vlog! A pitty that it took such a long time waiting for Typhoon and Fury but it looks that you both had a great day at Bobbejaanland! It was nice meeting up and we were happy to donate this nice canvas of Bobbejaanland from 40 years ago, I got this when I was a little kid, it was here at Bobbejaanland where I caught the themepark fever 😊 enjoy themepark worldwide and look for a nice place at the museum! Grtz. Bart and Wendy
Shawn is one of the best Theme Park and Roller coaster Vloggers !! He is extremely knowledgeable and gives great insight and always has a contagious enthusiasm that makes his videos stand out from the rest! Keep is up TPWW! Best theme park channel on RUclips for sure!
Just so you know, there were a few rides here which had theming by space leisure, the company that created pirates adventure at Drayton. They built “el paso” and the “temple of fear”
This made me emotional 🥲 this was the 1st park i ever went to as a kid with my late mum when bobbejaan schoepen was still in charge of his park, we’d see him driving around on his golf buggy. We used to go every Wednesday after school! I’ve not been for over 20 years since I now live in the uk, it’s much changed.
Loved it as always revolution looked great loved Charlotte dancing with the monkey that was so funny lol and how lovely been given that framed picture will look fab in the museum shawn thankyou guys as always see you tomorrow xx
Just a brilliant road trip! Well done! Really enjoyed each park. Really enjoy the European parks and their amazing themes. Great details really well done
Revolution has always been my favorite coaster at the park and one of my favorite indoors coasters in the world. The latest update they did to the coaster was back in July when they returned two of the original 1989 projections (glass and time gates) for the first time since 1999. Current record holder for longest coaster train in the world.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Mhm. I know the coaster's history very well and the layout of this coaster, from the theming it had, to the effects. It went through various changes over the years. It originally opened in 1989 with two huge screens in the main room. Both projections were synchronized with each other (the lower screen was removed in 1999). The descent portion of the ride originally had 4 small screens (the 4th small screen was removed in 2000).
Hey guys! fun fact about El Paso (the dark ride), it was apparently the first interactive dark ride in the world! So a lot of the interactive rides we know today were based off of this one. I've never been on it but it's an important part of theme park history in my opinion!
Thank you for sharing! I think halloween should be in the dark... But many of the halloween days the park is closed at 5 or 6 pm... I wouldn't like to wait more ten an hour for Typhoon!
Hey there Shawn and Charlotte my family and I are going to LegoLand on Sunday mum and I have to get up early 7.00 o’clock I love you so millions Shawn and Charlotte xx
I used to work for Bobbejaanland and I must tell you that the older staff told me not to work too fast and that I shouldn't care for long waits. Bobbejaanland's management also don't mind that at all. As a theme park lover, that shocked me. Anyway, thank you for taking us along with you. I enjoyed your video's very much!
Explains a lot. I paid for a fast pass (always do unless I can get disability access with my autipas) and had a full train for myself on Fury, with a huge line.
Too bad you guys weren't able to do the scare mazes, they are amazing - Alice in Horrorland, Monastery and Wrecked are really the highlight of the park at Halloween. Glad to have caught you two in the park as well (we ran into each other at Texas Butcher), seems like you had a great day at the park! Some fun facts: - The Dreamcatcher is the oldest operating suspended rollercoaster in the world - The El Paso Special was the first interactive dark ride in the world and has received new guns this year - Originally, another ride was intended to be placed where the Sledgehammer is located, that ride was going to be the Thrillenium ride - something very unique and still never seen anywhere - but the manufacturer went bankrupt shortly after the ride started to get built. The fundaments of the ride were already in place, so they searched for something that could be built on top of it, which became the Sledgehammer.
Another fun fact: El Rio originally had a ferris wheel kinda lift section right after the first corner and it took you to the top of a big slide. After many technical problems it was out of order for several years until it actually got totally removed. It was such a cool and unique part if the ride and i'm glad i ever rode it like it was originally intended to be. Was pretty cool!
@@Penuti1 There were multiple reasons why it was removed, but the main reason was the capacity of the wheel: it had an atrocious throughput when the wheel was active, and El Rio proved way more popular than anticipated. That led to huge queues back in the day. Add in the difficult evacuation from the wheel and some difficulties with the wheel and the decision was made to no longer use it. I did do it with the wheel and without it El Rio is kinda boring. Another fun fact, with Helloween, El Rio is renamed Hel Rio which means Hell Rio.

Apparently when a ride operator sends out an empty roller coaster ride carriage with no people on it when the ride is open, it's done to check & make sure the sensors on the ride are all working correctly. It's done as a safety test to make sure the ride is in full safe operation. I believe it's the sensors on the carriages and/or track that are being tested to prevent an accident. To bad for the operations, you lost a lot of time I really can understand you wanted to do the rides after being it so long that you went to Bobbejaanland but you really missed out on the scare houses/mazes. Seen a few reviews of different content makers and they all agreed on how great those mazes were even in comparison to other parks in the whole of Europe they had the best theming and actors. I know a few years ago the theming was made by the same company that does the Tomorrowland theming, don’t know it still is. The scare zones and the ambiance throughout the park was even a bit weak for most of the reviews. I hope you can come back one day and enjoy them, really recommend them. And also recommend a speedy pass especially for the scare mazes to do them all. Would love to do them with you both, you are so enjoyable to watch and look to have a lot of fun.

Hi Sean, there’s a lovely custom Eurofighter at my home park in Western France, it’s called Vertika and it packs a punch, it opened in 2020 and is fairly smooth and comfy despite having OTSRs. I’d love that you ride and I review it someday, it really shows how the model evolved over the years when comparing it to Typhoon. 😁
VR doesn't belong on rollercoasters, I agree. Can Alton Towers revert the name Galactica to 'Air' again lol? This was a cool park though, day and night.
The girl screaming so loudly on Fury made my day. As far as I could make out actual words she screamed "mama, ik wil d'r uit" which translates to "mama, I want to get off".👌

I would rather them do that, than do no safety tests at all.
It makes perfect sense now.
By doing nothing you are putting people's Health & Safety in serious jeopardy if the ride malfunctions.
I did a little research about it on the Internet.
Safety should always be the No 1 priority.
Just thought you may like to know Shawn & Charlotte and anyone else in case you were all wondering.
If no safety tests were carried out on these rides & there was an accident because of it, the park could be accused of negligence or breaching Health & Safety Laws.
It's all done to ensure people's safety.
So i won't complain if i see it happening whilst I'm at a theme park

Thanks for watching!
What was your best ride
Definitely Fury
People who can’t wait till he’ll be riding nemesis👇❤❤❤
Bring it on!
No, I’m first!
I'd love you both to come to my local park flamingo land Cos I want to meet you both 12:23
Would love to give that a go!
Straight into Pumpkin Watch 1:11
VR doesn't belong on rollercoasters, I agree. Can Alton Towers revert the name Galactica to 'Air' again lol? This was a cool park though, day and night.
You mean November it’s past Halloween
This was recorded in October probably. Videos are often recorded a couple days before release.
This was filmed in October
@@ThemeParkWorldwideoh my bad
The girl screaming so loudly on Fury made my day. As far as I could make out actual words she screamed "mama, ik wil d'r uit" which translates to "mama, I want to get off".👌
🤣🤣 she really did not enjoy the ride
@@bloglondonso I would hate to be the other person sitting next to her.
She really wasn’t enjoying it at all 😂
