Psychology tricks really works in a conversation
it's not a trick; this is actually the reasonable manner to approach a negotiation. I know who the buyer believes is my "competition", and when cashflow is slow, I do lower my rates a bit. Yet, for projects where I know it will be labor intensive and special materials, I make my offer top rate. I states the benefits of what I do, and I let them reflect on the (lack of) quality they know anyone else would do...
They only work to people without awareness/God.
As someone who has done sales for 13 years if the value they perceive doesn’t match up they aren’t going to pay no matter how good of a salesman you are and you for sure won’t get a repeat customer. 99% of these sales people haven’t got a clue
Tell that to the majority of the consumer base. Works well on women.
Note , this trick will mostly work only in women because of a "feeling" not meant to work for men

I heard at school that I shouldn't say no to customers, but they never taught me how to redirect a story as good as this.
I worked for Terminix killing bugs a million years ago. Times would get economically tough and the husband would always ask why they needed our service anymore. I’d say. You don’t. Go buy a b&g sprayer (the good one) back then 250$ get good bug spray that doesn’t stink to high heavens. (Our tempo powder is the best and has 99% No smell) But you can’t buy it it’s only sold commercially so good luck. Then I told the husband all the places to spray and what patterns to use and how and where to put the mouse traps & bait. He always said “You do all that” I said I have a goal to treat every customers house like I do my mom’s. He usually (95%) of the time said. “Never mind. Keep doing what you have been doing “ I had one of the Highest customer retention routes in the company. Only one guy was higher. He looked disheveled and beat down and stood 5’5” with thick glasses and squinted bad. People just did not have the heart to let him go. Too funny. He was quiet as a church mouse. The bastard had me by using the Female Sympathy technique.
Wtf is the female sympathy technique, sounds made up
I did sales for 5 years, I learned that selling to customers that actually want or need my product and its value is the only way to sell. I never want my clients to feel like they were taken advantage of but rather that they gained something of value at a fair price
I learnt this from Accounting. What you’re selling is your integrity. It’s like your communicating to them that if they buy your product, they won’t regret it. Which is a big deal in my book. Really good for the reputation and when you have a good reputation it attracts more customers in long run.
value is relative😊
if you only sell to people that need something they will come to you, they will sell themselves and their money to YOU.
Its at this point where you become the client and the roles are subtly changed and by that, you secretly pull the strings.
Much like a submissive woman being " dominated " by a masculine man. While he might think he is dominating her she is the one in power because she sets the boundaries and has a safeword.
The king technique is making the costumer feel powerful , smart and the salesman like an idiot.
I did sales for 9 years and after all these years thats all I can say lmao
You're not a very good sales person 😂

"Never talk price always talk value" words to live by 🙌
Sadly enough, I would say that the majority of people who talk price rarely comprehend price nor the value. Or worse yet, they comprehend price but not value or the potential of having that added value in the future. Which sounds silly&may be confusing to read but I'm sure people in sales get it.
This is exactly how my business grew. Once i stop thinking about money first and put a value on my services the money came and the company grew

#2 Learn to sell yourself along with your service. Your Work can be amazing but if you do not connect with your client someone else can easily fill that interest.
#3 Always ask for a deposit, this will rule out the people that are serious vs the people that are just going to waste your time. There are exceptions, example customers that have gotten many tattoos with you.
#4 Do not lower your prices because all you're doing is training your clients to expect a discount. If they don't have the money to cover the entire tattoo, try exploring sessions as an option, maybe the outline on first session etc...

Yep. Worked in a bridal jewellery store for a year. The company spent 3 months teaching me to sell. It wasnt until the new assistant manager came in and within 3 weeks, taught me 23 years worth of salesmanship wisdom. My sales skyrocketed.
could you bestow that wisdom with us as well please ?
@@mashihuzzaman1962 Basically, what I've learned is (1) Make them feel special, (2) A long presentation is a short sale. (3) 90% of world class customer service is listening, not talking. And (4) The answer is always yes, because money is no issue.
Get to know their tastes, their reason for being in the store, and their values. Then you create a presentation linking the product into their life, be it a gift or a self-buy. Once you've convinced them of the item's value based on what they've told you, you back them into a corner. My AM's favourite technique was "Now I'm not saying I can do this, but if I contact my higher-up, will I earn your business today?" and then SILENCE. Stare them in the eye and don't say a f'ing word, no matter how long it takes. Lean across the counter if you must, but stare them down in absolute silence until they give you an answer. Not a negotiation, but an answer, yes or no. Then you do EVERYTHING in your power to make that deal happen and stand by your word.
Oh yeah and (5) Have two touchpoints (people talking to the customer). Ideally one of them is the manager. Part of making them feel special, but also means you can play dumb, as your coworker a question, and their answer lends credibility to your presentation.
Go on and prosper!!

Get off your high horse & stop jumping to conclusions.

Sales is fully coachable, when I started I was a mess, within a few months of copying, and addressing where I was going wrong the difference is significant. Then it becomes the point of incoperating it within a normal conversation without the client/customer focusing on the route you’ve given them too much
Well, to a certain level i guess. But some people just can sell everything.
Out of all the sales gurus I’ve seen on RUclips this guy is easily the best
As a salesman, I work the opposite way. I set my price for the service. If the customer has a problem with it. Ill ask what his budget is. Once he tells me his budget, i will attempt to tailor the products and services to meet his budget. While informing the customer of the adjustment in value / results. That puts the customer in the driver seat as to how much "value" they would like to extract from my product or service. I havent had any issues with sales since.
Holy moly! You wort believe it! A whole extra $380 just appeared in my pockets and my budget is now $800!!!
Normally if you have that money, for a luxury you are pinching something for the other. She prolly got dozens of shoes for the outfit. Maybe diffrent outfit options. (Products) service is something that is unique to the individual. That's how people prioritize products over people service. Trust me they will move some things around in there head.
I don't think they use dollars, I think it's Rands from South Africa. (From a fellow South African I recognise the accent)

But when you have a lot of money, and you want to treat yourself with something “expensive”, why not!
That is the goal!
This mindset is what helped me rebrand and increase the cost of my products. I was considering the market and not alienating people by the cost, but forgetting the value that the product had for customers. I was largely undervaluing my product. Now value is built into what I charge, so it naturally flows into sales

This is why I listen and talk less in a conversation. Words are very powerful, people just don't understand.
This is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! I had a hard time charging members of my congregation a fair price for wedding music and funeral music. However, when I discovered that the problem always was CHARGING THEM A PRICE, it changed my life. 20 years later, I still say the following for funerals: "My condolences {Name}. We don't cry because we know the dearly beloved is with the Creator. We cry because there is a hole in our hearts where that person used to be. Let me help you by singing/playing songs that he/she would have loved while living or let me sing/play songs that will remind you of him/her at their best." They THROW money at me!
For weddings, it's a lot simpler. I appeal to their sense of what could go WRONG if they hire an amateur who cannot roll with the inevitable obstacles and changes.

@EJames-nm4qt everyone is a fan of something. Most electronics aren't necessities, so you have to sell them a future that may or may not exist. In my field of business real estate and property management I have set prices but created different packages to fit different budgets with the option of add on services

There is a whole segment of the market to capture as women spend on worthless shit that doesn't matter but to them they have value
The way he said " this is fantastic " 😂😂😂

Never make the customer feel bad 😢❤
He's not making them feel bad. He's giving them a choice to feel bad or pay the full amount.
Never talk price talk value. Golden
Value come with the experience of that value or perceived experience in this case and he came with that on the fly props to him👏🏾🥂
Brother got so excited when she said makeup artist, he was like great, I already have an idea for this
That's good but ripping a customer when he/$he is at the worst situation 🎉
Agreed
Going to a make-up artist is not a necessity
So if a person is at their worst he/she should not spend even $420 for make-up
This is South Africa so R420 would be like $35 dollars or something
@@adityabhardwaj2490
That's another situation. 😒
@@SIGH_LAF
Do you think $35 is less?😒
Usually the people who complain about the price being too high are the people who can easily afford it…
