    In my Garden the slowest growing vine is garlic Vine. It's peers whom I've planted at the same time took off climbing crazy and flowering but garlic Vine seem lazy to grown an inch. My intention is not to compare but concerned where I'm going wrong. All requirements ticked! Plant is neither deteriorating nor growing 😀

      It can happen if it is not given something to climb on..and a bigger pot would certainly help

    very well explained. You could spread out the compost on a polythene sheet under direct sunlight to get rid of any unwanted insects. In case there are earthworms this should not be done.

    Hi again, just to check with you how long exactly did it take for your garlic vine to show any new signs of growth(leaves and stems) ? It's been a while since I have repotted mine(in a 10 inch pot) after buying one online (to be honest i got it May 5th). Any idea what could be done or what more can I do, gosh I need to keep a tab in my patience. As far as weather goes ,and like most(if not all) hill stations its constantly raining where I am.

    • @Urbanscapegardening
      @Urbanscapegardening  3 года назад +1

      Oh a hilly area is not the ideal place cos of the cold weather....you could protect it form rain if it's continuous...mine took 6 months or so...the more I gave it support the more it grew

      @@Urbanscapegardening Thanks for the feedback. i just noticed your message and to update you with the garlic vine, i saw two little nodes sprouting away..took exactly a month. I don't see tendrils just yet, but will for sure will keep an eye out for staking it, and ya... I'll take it under the shed as you mentioned it does not take too well with the rains.

      @@Urbanscapegardening 6 months is a painfully long time for showing any new signs of growth.. But nonetheless, all good things take time, like the saying goes.. :)
