Aziz Ansari's Marriage Advice | CONAN on TBS
/ teamcoco
Marriage is the #1 cause of divorce
+Chris H LOL
stay playin 💯
Big Bang is the #1 cause of everything
immaturity,inability to understand your needs
marriage just fastracks that for u
and by the time of ur third marriage u know what u r getting into
Ross geller is number 2
Man, that sweater joke cracks me up every time!
This is really awkward because Conan and his wife dated for 18 months (EXACTLY a year and a half) before they got married.
Kate Rubinstein Haha, too funny.
I think few months are enough to know the person before marrying her. If these months are intense, when you interacte and communicate often - you'll know the person :)
@Black Rod You are correct. The lovey dovey bullshit phase needs to pass, and for some, it can take a while to very long time.
@@annaheart7731 No, not even close. A few months doesn't even get you past the first (infatuation) stage of a relationship. You don't have time to get annoyed by those little disgusting habits that will make you want to kill the person after a bit more time. Two years minimum. Anything less is a crap shoot.
Andy and April only dated a month and then got married. So I dont know what you are talking about Tom
***** You mean after two more seasons and a Golden Globe win?
Yes it did, but TV shows end. I just didn't understand what the corolation between their relationship and the ending of the show was. I'm probably being "that guy" right now, but I don't know I just didn't get what you meant.
+batmanbunny101 the show didn't immediately end after andy and april got married?? it wasn't a wrap up at all lol
+batmanbunny101 They got married in the 3rd season. Show ended after 7 seasons. In what way do you wrap up the ending of a show 4 seasons before the end?
+Angelo Yang he must have binged watch
He is so funny. I never thought about marriage in that way.
Yeah, cause marriage it's not what he tells :), it's about founding a family unit where you will raise your children. You don't need to marry someone if it' s just for continue hanging out together.
@@annaheart7731 yeah for a lot of people but not everyone gets married wanting to have kids I’ve known plenty of wonderful couples who never had kids, not to mention they take a lot of time, effort, and they are expensive if you want that kid to have a good life and life even better than yours it a big investment, there are other ways to have fulfillment as a couple without children not knocking at people who do have children it’s an amazing human experience
@@michaelguardiola8225 You say: "there are other ways to have fulfillment as a couple without children "
I'm really curious to know, what are those ways. If you could develop this a bit, it would show better the "other ways".
I personally think that the real meannig of the life comes when you struggle for a noble cause (or a revenge - but it's sick) or when you have children (because I could exeperience myself my life "before" and "after" having children).
😆
For an unmarried jokester, Aziz Ansari understands what marriage is far, far too well.
Everyone does lol
Most of his material here are excerpts from his stand up special. I love it every time I hear it.
I thought I was the only one that knew that 😂😂😂
The same fact is applicable for Louis CK in interviews.
Zach Hale I knew it was too good. I feel like only Conan and Bill Burr can come up with something smart on the spot
Zach Hale that’s a very common thing for stand up comedians to do on talk shows...................
Hershey’s park
"wtf was i doing with this sweater?!"
Slays me every time...
omg that marriage bit was genius.
Yeah
Look, here in Australia its too hot and we only have enough energy for a limited vocabulary... it mostly consists of swearwords and this sentence.
Plus, you used to be a bunch of inmates.
John L Truly fell off my chair reading this!
Hahaha!
I love your accents bro (I live in Cali, US)
wth#$@ was I doing with this sweater?!
OH GOD I ACTUALLY GIGGLED.
"what the fuck was I doin wit this sweater?" lol
YOU WILL MARRY ME
OR YOU WILL FIND YOUR WAY OUT OF THE FIELD
sounds like ron swanson
Ali Khan or april
I ain't gettin married....thanks Aziz for the insight.
lol...I love how he asks him how he proposed haha
Built like a brick shit house is the saying.
I've used the term 'it looks like a shithouse in here' before, something I heard my mum say when I was younger and this is in Britain. Most of the words I picked up from her were either London or Southern Irish slang
This is reminding me a lot of Master of None
"I want to keep doing that till you're dead." Oh God I am dead 😂😂
this guy needs to come to england the amount of profanity phrases we have is unreal
"We could do that or we could get married" my heart exploded
same
That's literally how I perceive the concept of marriage to be, I understood why it was put into place originally, but I never really fully understood why we are still adopting it into more progressive societies today. I also don't like the pressure and expectation one suddenly gets when they near 30.
dude is a prophet.
Rent a swag
it's a concept that has been proposed recently by companies
How come Conan didn't mention he'd dated his wife for exactly a year and a half before those two got hitched? Lol
Best proposal I ever heard lol
Oh Conan... you are so amazing! I love your show and the fun conversations you have with your guests!!!
That guy is awesome, he's really funny. It's been a long time since I haven't heard a stand-up comedian being really funny.
That is exactly how my husband views the marriage agreement. He calls the whole ritual the day I got married! Makes me laugh every time I think of it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like the people complaining that it's "scripted." That's the reason he's successful in the entertainment industry and you're not.
"we could do that or we could get married...?" - thats the cutest thing aww my heart
Everyone stop complaining about his voice and looks. Hes a funny guy
How is he single?
He's rich and seems aware of the dangers of being in a relationship nowadays
Chris Smith Holy shit who cares if she's a feminist they're her beliefs and if he's happy with a feminist it doesn't matter
Chris Smith You are a bad human being.
Chris Smith He smartened up indeed.
+Malak S. he's an indian manlet, but he's got money and fame. Anybody with money and fame should fuck bitches til they're 70 and live in thailand. Only then should a man settle down and start a family.
He looks like the black mister bean
Ri.g
***** I thought he was Indian.
Archonis The Great Generalizing that white people lack basic observational skills is uncultured and moronic and stereotyping. Gee, and here I thought only white people could be racist and create stereotypes. Boy was that stereotype wrong.
Nemz Lord Black??
+mrbrockpeters Indian dude..see his name
I've watched this three times and I still laugh at Aziz talking about the marriage proposal.
This was absolutely hilarious. Sometimes Aziz just kills it
Dumbass people do not understand how comedians promote their specials.
Ok....but why do comedians do a pretend sit down interview where they basically repeat their stand up material...when they can just do a 5-7 min stand up routine on the show to promote their work?! Talk shows have stand ups perform all the time. People like to hear comedians talk off-the-cuff and unrehearsed. That's why I appreciate Bill Burr's interviews.
NYCzora I could listen to BIll Burr ramble for hours, lol. Chappalle is another comedian that's really interesting to listen to in interviews.
OHH BUDDDY... You picked the wrong guy to discuss Bill Burr with... I absolutely love Bill Burr as a comedian but he is GREAT example of comedians reusing their bits in interviews. GO TO EVERY INTERVIEW EVER BY BILL BURR and what you hear is his actual stand up bits OR shit he comes up with in his Monday Morning Podcasts... All im saying is that these guys are professional jokers, which means they will have phrases all ready lined up. Thats not a bad thing they had to create the line in the first place. Its just being professional.
People dont go on talk shows to discuss random shit.. They know what the beats are, thats how shit gets done. Same with Bill Burr.
EverythingEverywable Bill Burr would never do that.
Bill Burr has the best analogy for marriage.
"If you wanted to jump out of a plane and there was a 50% chance you would die, would you do it?"
Now think of marriage statistics....
We miss you Aziz...come.back soon
First interview I watch and actually laugh out loud, this guy really is funny.
Sometimes I feel like Conan zones out of these conversations
from mine 4 04 loved itt
just so naturaly funny. on any show he does he makes me laugh thats how you know he writes his own shit.
4:09 boy that escalated quickly, too
Hahaha, as an Aussie, I am cracking up. I didn't even notice how weird these things sound.
+Alanah Q
As an Aussie then you can tell me if I'm wrong. Here in New Zealand we wouldn't describe a guy as being built like a shithouse but being built like a *brick* shithouse. Do you guys not say the brick part?
No, we do say the "brick" part, I think that just got lost in translation.
@@LittleTed1000 what does that mean like muscular
@@chunkymonkey170
Yeah, basically. A solid rectangle of a guy. Just means huge.
@@LittleTed1000 damn if I was a man I’d be honoured to be called a shithouse
"Conan's gonna murder me, I'm so scared!" Hahaha! The way he says that is just perfect.
He used that last bit in one of his shows
I love me some Aziz.
hahahaha love this guy! the last bit killed me!
I have NEVER thought of it like that but omg he is right!!
its nice to hear new bits from him
I haven't laughed this hard in ages.. Oh my god the last marriage bit :DD
Aww he's so adorable....
Amazing sweater complex
Aziz
I love this guy. From the moment i watched him in Scrubs, i wanted to see everything he has ever done. He is genius.
Also in the American South a generation ago. My grandma used that phrase a bunch.
i saw his special before this and i still found a lot of it funny, He's great
LOL that marriage description
The last part was hilarious. Haven't laughed that much in weeks :)
Aziz Ansari seems like such a down to Earth guy. Would love to have a conversation with him, he seems like he would be genuinely interested to hear what you would have to say. Love him!
Watched this and some other of his late night show interviews. Aziz is hilarious!
Aziz is speaking my thoughts on marriage exactly.
who the hell would dislike this?! its fucking HILARIOUS!!
Preach! Xxx
God Damn Conan I gotta study for my second midterms. stop being so entertaining...
He is amazing
That bit where he breaks down the definition of marriage. My God, that is so true.
Aziz, when he's on point, is a genuine genius.
Those sayings make sense to me and I'm from Scotland
Ha! I love his little speech about imagining if marriage wasn't a common thing- lol, it does sound crazy! :) I love this bit, never gets old-
I love this guy, his voice is super.. His suite is mr beanish.. Very funny this guy..
This guy is soooo funny. His brand of humour is so nice and familiar, too.
love him!
oh my god he's brilliant
Completely agree.
I love aziz, hes so funny!
Love aziz. Great character
Make Conan show in the UK! PLEASE
innovative perspective, very funny guy.
I love his sense of humor!
Aziz has everyone by the ears.... Special guy man.
Nice
Aziz is hilarious.... he owned this interview.
"Now wear this ring around to let people know that you're not gonna back out of this relationship."
I live in Connecticut!!!
why are the words censored in youtube?...come on!
Yeah I gotta agree with you it is refreshing bringing honest guests on the show. I'd like to think Conan shares more off camera only because he needs to keep a professional attitude on TV for the sake of the show
he's probably one of the funniest people I've ever seen in an interview in my whole life and I didn't even know he existed 'till like 10 minutes ago
"plan B...he he he..." LOL
He's said that sweater joke already in his stand up
just about to write that
Love it!!!
hahaha perfect end to the clip "this is everything I used in the field"
Woo! Brisbane!
I'm kinda happy he did it in Connecticut. I feel like people never go to Connecticut.
Best marriage rant on RUclips right here.
Aziz is sooooo funny!
His ancestral is from my state Tamilnadu in India I guess so
This dude made me laugh so hard tears came out!!!
I
