This is divide and a god sent! When I saw her look I decided I wanted to make a corset/top + trousers in this style for a wedding I'm going to this summer. And now here's the perfect tutorial. Last year I made your danielle dress for a wedding! I broke my leg the day before but I still wore it, even if I had to sit on a wheelchair the whole day. I was so happy with it.
I went to Linton tweed is Scotland couple years ago. Couple hour drive for me. Got some lovely fabric that is still in my stash. Still cannot decide what to make .
I love this! It's a corset with sleeves! I have the Aurora dress, could you point to any resources on how to fit and modify to this kind of the corset.
I would love to see a video where you explain how to change an existing pattern to make it fit your body! Or are there any resources someone can recommend for that topic? :)
it looks great! I love that you deviated by not adding the black band. it's great on the original but you gotta listen to the project as you make it and do what's best for that specific garment. which you did and it looks great.
ooo! this was also my favorite look from the met gala, and i love the boucle! wonderful texture. and the finished corset is gloriously smooth and perfect! i think a shorter skirt will make the ensemble more wearable, even though i love me a great big ballgown skirt.
I would love to see you recreate some of the Mugler x H&M pieces since it was all limited and won't be back in stock! I personally would love to see the corset hoodie ❤
Wow that fits you to perfection! Great pattern and I'm just curious if the fabric was breathable because I once made something from upholstery fabric and it was so tightly woven I actually couldn't breathe in it and could never wear it.... Just curious... You really made a gorgeous corset, such perfect workmanship 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much! I had no issues with breathing at all as the chest was not too tight, I just cinched in the waist a bit 😊 so I really loved wearing it! 🫶🏻
i love Met Gala looks this year, and I am completely agree with you, Dua Lipa's dress is my favourite looks the dress is amazing ! I will definitely buy your pattern ! Could you give me the link of your fabric please ? Thank you so much !
Does anyone have tips for sewing around curves like along the bust to waist seams? I'm working on a project and I'm not sure if I'm just not matching the lines properly or if there's some technique to getting smooth seams when the pieces aren't straight?
I made a 1950s Vogue trench coat with upholstery fabric and I am completely obsessed. I think that fabric will be amazing.
