As for this Sigma male, there must be a natural foundation that helps him negotiate challenges as a young boy. Not even those closest to him ever in those early years even realize what he faces. It is both the natural foundation having these personality traits and those challenges that create the Sigma male as an adult. However, this never ends. Some of the biggest challenges for this Sigma male was dealing with the multi-layered effects that stem from the one hearing defect that cannot be fixed or helped. These layers exist in the physical, emotional, and social levels. Maintaining such a balance between these daily challenges and the basic traits of the Sigma male can sometimes be exhausting, but there is no other way for this Sigma male.
Not true about conversation and non interest. We pay attention to everything. Even that perceived to not mean much to us or interest us. We’re fully engaged and you’ll find when it seems we’re paying the least attention, is the complete opposite.

And here I thought I was prone to self-isolation and loneliness. x) But going with the description, I can honestly only think of one that even comes close. Nice guy too. Enjoys saunas and collects japanese antiques. The rest of the men in my current life consist of loudmouth alphas, discombobulated betas, and a couple of go-with-the-flow artsy types. (Whether in their late 20s, in their 30s or 40s, I guess we're a wandering generation.) Be sure, they all have their own strenghts, and their own weaknesses... all in all a friendly bunch, on a good day, but... none falling into the description given here. And sure, I might stumble across one here and there, but you can't judge anyone's personality based on a random visual encounter, now can you? Still think it's a pity. I'd enjoy a decent mirror to dig a little deeper. Tho I do hope you realise my opening statement was (at least partially, hehe) in jest. ;)

Imagine someone who has no ego and nothing to prove to anyone, whatsoever? Imagine someone who is content more on his own, but can easily mingle should the need arise? Imagine someone who pursues excellence in life, to understand and know everything, but doesn't brag and boast, nor adorn himself in the fashions of the day? He's just someone who sees life for what it is, more than capable of handling himself but chooses to walk away from trouble, but if he has no choice then expect Armageddon.
