It really depends, if you have above average driving skill u should use closer to 100 Sensitivity / Max Lock. U get more responsive handling and this will likely make u faster after a short adjustment period. I changed recently from 70 / 60 to 90 / 80 and I could beat all my records first try....
Dude your tunes are making me upto 1-2 MINS FASTER COMPARED TO LAST WEEK. The senna race car is totally differant
Haha, I tried the Senna racing, and the new settings help it turn in a bit better.

Thanks for the tips as always. I'm going to jump in now and see if I can figure out how to make the old XBOX ONE perform better. So far I got PLATINUM once and Finished ONE GRAND RACE without being DNF'd. Hope these settings help me improve.
@Kingdom Twelve Man you helped a lot! This solution is very nice. Me as a long time racing player and even pro player I had no idea what to do with the situation because Direct Mode is too quick and the cars slow down too much on turns while I hate turning the thumbstick about 25% for most of the time. And at the same time default settings was just not giving enough turn angle in the time you needed. This is already close to meta if you are good enough driver so that is perfect. Thanks a lot again 🙂
And when it comes to the settings as Kingdom said you can try the sensitivity option especially if it is a bit too snappy on Off Road because I feel you can slide a little too much on hairpins or so and lose time or maybe it depends on assists or car settings but like I said you can to change it and in general it is a nice step forward.

Def agree, for the average player Direct mode is unreasonable to use, fine tuning the settings is absolutely better
This also goes for people who don’t have a good controller, if you don’t have a good controller it’s impossible to use direct mode

imo just changing the stock steering max lock to 45 makes it feel so much better and seen som ppl on grs just wobbling of the road prolly becuz they're using dm lol

I didn't take it below 50 but would assume it would just make it so you have less of a turn radius at higher speeds.

Yeah direct mode is too much but turning up the slider just a lil bit gives much more confidence especially with understeery cars
^^ this. It doesn't remove understeer completely, but it makes those cars handle better for sure.

I have a question that is off topic, but can't find an answer. How are players finishing races in like 45 seconds? The leader board is full of impossible times.
That's been an issue since day 1. Some sort of cheat on PC. There are good racers but not that good.
@@KingdomTwelve And Ivory Tower/Ubisoft is okay with it? Why haven't they fixed it and scrubbed the leader boards?
I cant remember what settings I have I think sensitivity is like 65 and the dynamic Max lock is 85 and it feels great for me. I'll have to look tonight on what settings I have.. but Car still has abit of weight on them but not too twitchy. I agree with you Max setting is way too aggressive and I really don't like it. But with what I have it feels really good for me.

I just bought the game and want to try it out one thing I noticed after all the tutorial bits is that my dynamic range option is grayed out and I can't change it to hdr. Any ideas about this issue?
I forget what you have to do, but it involves changing another setting to allow it.

@zoasBE They might have messed with the physics a bit but I'm not sure. People are saying steering wheels feel different.
@@KingdomTwelve this is why I was asking how to put the settings just like before the patch, because yesterday without touching anything (off 50/50) I felt all the cars weird, even with your pro settings, I really felt them different... 🙄🤦 (edit: on controller)
I don’t know but I just like this game cuz was street racing with some realistic move but now that’s game look like need for speed

@@KingdomTwelve not using it makes competitive racing useless against people who use it. People who use steering wheels and want more immersion are now at the bottom of the leaderboards in pvp. That option is shit. End of story.

And now everyone has it, its like someone turned the lights on, this is explaing why on escape run its just them unlike us who have 50 cars appearing at once hell bent on destroying our runs, but ubisoft shoukd of given these Mofos 2 week bann to see if anything changed tgen monitor individuals in questions and if it went back to broken well there your answer, compared to last week, im 1-2 mis faster now then last week , i coould carry on ranting but liars cheaters bullshitters and guys who wearing their "im a multi resetter gamebeater sweater" dont deserve mine and honest gamers time or energy
