When I first watched your video I thought it was garbage because all these other videos talked and explained everything but when I tried their way it never worked so I was frustrated when I came upon your video. Yours is so simple, so easy, AND IT WORKED, not only for the 70 but also the 150. Thank you
The whole video series about the rocket boat is really well done. All the other videos about this specific boat are quite bad. Congrats that you put efford, know how in it and i really enjoy to see other people trying to reach 99,9 % of perfectism as well :-) I also find the boat is a good start into rc boats, but I also thinks its to slow. Thanks for all videos about this boat, I took a lot of (already proofen) ideas out of it. Do you still drive the boat? Any updates or issues? Sorry that only few people watch this series, I think it deserved many more viewers!
Thanks for your great comment👍🏻 I still drive the boat. This summer, more videos will follow. New motor, prop setup tests, hull mods and paintjob. Still a lot to come. Thanks for following☺️
Did you already reverse the throttle channel on your transmitter? Sounds like your zero throttle position is full throttle on the ESC. Like this, the ESC enters programming mode and the motor only beeps but cannot spin. Hope, this solves your issue.
Ive programmed one of these before but now i cant on a new 150A esc. The throttle ends up reversed. Neutral is full throttle and full throttle is neutral stick position. Any idea ?
I would reverse the throttle channel on the transmitter. Then set throttle range again. Hope this helps. Was it even possible to enter programming mode like this?
@@RCnerd74 Thanks. I did reverse the throttle and that was a good first step. It took about 10+ attempts, but after some trail and error the travel finally stuck. It's odd because I have the same esc on another boat with no issues. Oh well, its done now!
The timing setting depends on the motor you use. Perhaps you can find a data sheet from your motor including the recommended timing. If not i would recommend to begin with 32KHz. This is stock setting on some ESCs.

Thanks for your great comment☺️ Appreciate it. Will try to come up frequently with similar videos. Enjoy your Flycolor ESC👍🏻
Thank you. Worked for me with my flydragon lite.
You are welcome☺️
Very good tutorial!!
@@wesjames6276 Thanks. Will come up with the same for hobbywing esc soon.
Thank god i got a programmer coming in so i can set everything up much easier
Thanks for the video, save my life and no need to buy a programming card ....love this content ❤
I am glad that my video was helpful. Enjoy your Flycolor ESC.

Thanks, great video. Are you happy with the quality of the Flycolor ESC? Is it reliable?
Thanks. No issues so far with the flycolor escs. Pretty happy user😃
Great!

@@billjonesnation If you can i would return the ESC to the seller. Sounds like a dead on arrival.
what would be the best timing setting
