Hey, Tommy here... Did you make this in response to my string failure? My new one is great by the way. Best bow shop and customer service on the planet. Stay shatterproof fellas
good points you made there! i do tend to care what i do and do not with my string....where i put my bow....and how i treat the string. on the other hand i am a lazy guy - so i hardly ever wax my string and build a new one every 1-1 1/2 years (cause by that point i like to change colors anyway) :D
I build myself a beautiful bow case with a bowshape to lay it in. It's a Hardwood case on wheels and fake fur and the arrows are clicked Inn foam. The outside looks like a guitar case but it's 1.70 meter long
I took the finger off one of my old shooting gloves, cut a small slit in it and slid it over the bottom tip of my bow. Then fed the string through the slit so the entire bow tip, string notch, and loop are protected.
I have a problem with the serving at the bottom part comes unraveled it has happened on 2 strings not to sure what to do one guy said I gap deep or do I need to restring the serving I thought of trying one of your strings but if I am do something wrong then it won't matter any help would help
Another informative video... I think you missed the part where if you nock your arrows in the same place consistently, that area will also wear prematurely, but it also means you're consistent and you shoot a lot. Are you going to make another "Will it bow?" episode? Or are you too busy with your fabrication activities to entertain that idea? Regardless, keep up the good work.

Great video! As someone who’s experienced a very premature bowstring failure, I found this very helpful.

Weeds/sticks getting caught on the string knocks can be mitigated with brush buttons..
I find mine tends to wear more where I unstring it even though I use a stringer.
Very interesting! 😀

With that string it sounds like it just needs reserved. It must have been served incorrectly or got nicked or worn out and broke.
@@ShatterproofArchery thanks for the info

Also, Don't drag your bow kill out of the woods by the bowstring.
Unless you have to... :)
