    It changed my life, about six years ago. Getting up at 3:30 so that I can workout at 5:30 am was suggested to me by a former boss (powerlifter), who does this routine.
    My life is more organized, and I'm never late, even for work.

      @@hioxd it's hard but the easiest way I found in the past to fix my sleeping pattern is go to bed at the normal time you would but wake up hours earlier than you normally would, you'll probably be tired as shit that day but then go to bed early that night an repeat the cycle next morning (I find it's best to do it on a weekend/a day where it doesn't matter if you are tired an can't function very well)

    Many in the comment section are missing the point. In order become a success you must 1st become something. This isn’t literally about the clock but this is about time management. You want to say that 10 hours of everyday of the week is occupied by work and traffic? Come on now.. everyone Has days off. Everyone can optimize there time better. I ain’t trying to hurt anyone or be mean in anyway. Just offering help, just offering options. These are experiences that have helped me.

      Jacqueline Brown Exactly! There’s no advantage to waking up at 3 o’clock in the morning as opposed to 6 o’clock in the morning. It all depends on personal schedule. Not to mention life doesn’t always begin at 3 o’clock in the morning. As in your job or your kid’s school schedule etc.

      4amWorkoutClub This magic time you speak of can be overnight or in the middle of the afternoon. What time you wake up has absolutely zero to do with anything. All that matters is discipline and routine and being productive during your waking hours.

    • @charlottebrown1836
      @charlottebrown1836 5 лет назад

      4amWorkoutClub Waking up at 1 AM is no more beneficial than waking up at 3 AM or 6 AM. The only magic to success is routine and discipline and being productive during your waking hours. It doesn’t matter if your waking hours are from midnight to noon. As long as you’re productive in your routine and discipline during those hours you will be successful.

    • @charlottebrown1836
      @charlottebrown1836 5 лет назад

      4amWorkoutClub Waking up at 3 AM gives you no more extra time during the day. you have the same 24 hours. You’re going to have 16 hours of waking hours per day regardless of when you wake up. It’s all how you utilize them.

    • @charlottebrown1836
      @charlottebrown1836 5 лет назад

      4amWorkoutClub Actually there are plenty of people on this post trying to impose this silly idea onto other people. Truthfully, most people in reality would not be able to function waking up at 3 AM. They will not have a life that allows them to go to bed at 4 or 5 o’clock in the afternoon.

    I wake up at 4am on weekdays, 6am on Saturday and sleep until my son wakes me up on Sunday (rest day from workout). I think what he's saying is correct, but for me it's for complete different reasons (not to knock his). Waking up early eliminates any anxiety from work and the workout sets the tone for me to be alert and energetic for the day. Also, the same sleep pattern keeps my metabolism High and keeps my food choices more disciplined. I'm a fan, but that's just my opinion.

    waking up at 3am and ending your day 3pm: 12hour day
    Waking up at 9am and ending your day at 9pm: 12 hour day
    Same day, different times.

    Waking up early doesn’t automatically constitute increased productivity and discipline

      Alex Koch true. But waking up early is quite different to waking up at 9am. Especially when you’re up at a time when everyone else is asleep and you have time to yourself to do things in a focused manner. 9am the whole world is up and things are active.

      The whole point is that the working day is much more product able. DAYLIGHT HOURS! It makes a huge difference to get up at 5am 6am every day & still get 7 hours kip. Try it for a month & see!

      Might be the same time. Afternoon/ night time hours are usually wasted. Waking early there is nothing to do but what you set for yourself, as most others aren't awake to engage with.
      It simply limits your options with the hours you have.

    Better hormone production as well going to bed early and waking up early. As easier way is to wake up when the sun comes up and start to wind down when the sun goes down. For optimal hormone production a good sleep time would be 10pm to 6am or 9pm to 5am.

    I woke up at 4:30am for months. Spent an hour or two studying my books before work so I could get a better job. Yes, it sucked. It was not fun in the traditional sense. But it paid off, I got a job at Microsoft and will be doubling my pay. Now I can relax.
    Here are some keys to this whole thing:
    1. It's not about working out. It's about working on yourself to achieve some goal.
    2. The idea is to be more efficient with the 24 hours you have each day. You're not getting extra time by waking up early. Just using it more efficiently.
    3. If you want to achieve something you have to make sacrifices. Can't watch as much TV, can't go out at night all the time. Doesn't mean you have to completely cut it out. Like Mark said, if something happens in his life he'll call an audible and sleep in. It all depends on what you want more. Enjoy your life as it is or make some short term sacrifices for long term successes.
    Hope this helps

    Oh puhhlease!!! Discipline is discipline no matter what time one wakes up. It is not the time. It is the mindset. Different people have different responsibilities and can’t get up at 3am. I wake up at 8 / 8:30 and I get everything done and even a gym workout at least 5 days a week and I am in great shape and healthy being in my mid 40’s.

    I used to wake up at 3:30 am and it was great... got to work by 5am, got a ton done and was very productive... then my wife started complaining that she was waking up and couldn't get back to sleep. So it was either 1) wake up early and listen to my wife give me grief, 2) sleep in a different bedroom, or 3) become a night owl. I chose #3. Alternatives could have been: convert her to wake up at 3:30 (not happening), or wake up at 5:30 when she wakes up (but that defeated the purpose - didn't provide enough time for productive activity)
    Bottom line: Ya gotta do what works for you... if you're motivated, I don't see the big diff between staying up late and getting up early. It's all about your habits while you're awake

Soon as you get in from your 9-5 say at 6pm try a 20 30 minute cat nap, your body wakes up alert, it does help hugely imo. On a Saturday and Sunday I have 2 cat naps for 30 mins a time. It helps massively and gives me a huge boost when I wake, the boost to get me to the gym & work, to cook, clean, etc

    Need some time management advice. I wake up at 4:50 and I'm at work for 5:45 five days a week. I work 12 hours and I'm home by 6:15pm. Two huskys that require minimum one hour of running, after I cook for them, myself and shower it's already 8:30-9. Saturdays I am off at 1pm. I'm struggling to maintain my gym schedule and don't know what to do. In 12 hours I have one twenty minute break and a half hour lunch, the rest of my day is spent fast paced on my feet.
    What is a good way to manage this schedule and stay in shape?

      Lewis Cook bro STFU, you don’t know anything about ‘these clowns’ because you’re one yourself. I work out on MY time and it’s nearly everyday. You act like people don’t have full time jobs, children or are college students with heavy course loads (think NOT getting a useless degree like business, liberal arts or HR) anyway my point is, despite all that I’m able to find time to workout. If you want to get up a 3 be my guess, my schedule doesn’t allow for it so don’t do it and this is a prime example of why I hate ‘gym culture’ it’s a bunch of dip shits posting gym meme’s, knocking people for no reason and an excuse to suck their own dicks, I actually think they trade off on each other. Bottom line if you have no life continue on with it and stay at the gym where I won’t ever have to ever interact with you in the real world.

    • @Lemurai
      @Lemurai 5 лет назад

      iEditingStudios bruh I have more to do in my life than go to the gym at the drop of a hat. Do you have a full time job and going to college at the same time? Do you have kids? I’m saying... Works for me. I used to workout in the evening after work but found I couldn't sleep at night because of it. Plus the gym was way too crowded, noisy, and full of assholes. So I built myself a home gym. I get up at 4.30am, train 5.00-6.00am, then work 7.00-3.30. That way, the only thing I'm doing after work is winding down and relaxing instead of revving my body up again before bed time. Initially I was getting crap workouts in the early morning, but I persevered and after 2 or 3 weeks my body adapted.
