- Shay's Story in Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V, This is a very sad story that Shay tells in Arc-V. Shay is one of the best duelist in the Arc-V world. He doesn't take no crap from anyone especially if it's to rescue his sister LuLu from duel academy.

The yugioh with the most potential but tragic writing
I think they nailed the English dub with Shay, I hope his VA does other work beside 4 kids in the near future.
I know! The Arc-V dub is one of my least favourites, in no small part thanks to Yuya (sorry Michael Liscio Jr., but it's a bit grating, and Yuto sounds like a discount Batman), but Shun's voice is excellent, and Shun vs. Sora is good even in the dub. And he actually gets summoning chants that manage to emulate the JP chants' level of gravitas!

Vrains was amazing show though! I mean Yusaku went through alot when he was abducted as a kid
More than what most of the other Protagonists,@@LemonGirl2166, I mean seriously:
Yugi: Got physically and mentally bullied by the scum that once plagued Domino City until he gets possessed by a spirit.
Atem: Loat his best friend on top of being called an evil king, all because he lost control of his emotions.
Jaden: His favourite game had torn up his goofy happy-go-lucky personality to the point that Jaden was nearly as emotionless as a war-bread soldier.
Yusei: had to live through his whole life connected to the "Zero-Reverse" incident, and feeling the silent anger resonating throughout Satellite and New Domino City and always feeling the need to take responsibility alone.
Yuma: All he wanted was to be a Duel Champion, but in order to become one, Yuma had to be separated from his Parents, his friends and had to bring hell to earth, all because he bargained with the Door of Destiny twice.
Yuya: was constantly mock for his Yusho's absence from the Standard Dimension as a sign of forfeit out of cowardice, what more Yuya like Yuto, Yugo and Yuri, Yuya was responsible for destroying the original Yugioh world, a statement that that would eventually haunt Yuya after Zarc's defeat.
Yusaku: was constantly injected with Virtual Nightmare Fuel and abuse as a child, all so that both people and Ignis could both be played like pawns by a war-hungery egomaniac.
No matter how you look at it, Yugioh was a Horror series under the guise of happy superkids show, a Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.
@@jakeblancaster8498 I never said that the other Protagonist didn’t go through alot I know they went through alot I watched every single series, I just don’t think it’s fair to leave playmaker out cause he went through alot too!
@@LemonGirl2166 Who said anything about leaving Vrains out? I said "up to Vrains" which means Vrains was already included. (It would've been stupid not to include)
What makes it worse is that Yuto and Ruri is gone forever

I hear people always say that, but Yuto was able take control over Yuya's body whenever he want
I think it's just about Shun choosing to stay in the Standared Dimension or return to the Xyz Dimension and leave his sister and his best friend assuming that the portal is gonna be closed

@@LemonGirl2166 I know but what I’m saying is that if they meet. Let’s say Yuma travelled to the Arc V World where there is no Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri, Declan, Leo, Chairwomen, and Reira. Yuma was forced to come to paradise city after heartland city and Neo heartland city. From there he meet Shay and after their first duel, Yuma lost and he felt a lot of fear from Shay when he defected him. So what do you think? I know it’s a fanmade but it idiot be cool if this happened.
