Since 22 February 2021 the tallest building in the EU has been the Varso Tower in Warsaw, Poland, which is 310 metres tall. And it has a sky garden on top of the building that you can go to.
What you do in winter? You work as much as you can, so you won't have to work when it is warm.
Luke , I am officially pleased to say I am your permanent Supporter on this channel, from yesterday , I made up my mind after I saw your arrival vlogs, SO honest and sincere and full of great life appreciation, KEEP IT UP BUDDY
Good to have you back bro👍
Yes, it looks like the Terminal Tower in Cleveland!
Actually you could be my guide to Warsaw. You have been there more time than me.
If you would came to Poland in December you could experience how "short" days are during winter. The sunrise is at past 7 am and sunset is at about 4 pm. It is also too cold to hang out outside and towns look like ghost towns. That is why we all are always waiting the summer to come.
Two things to remember when in Poland, and I've been told this many times, cross the streets and obey the crossing lights at the cross walks and don't drink alcohol from open containers in public. I have been stopped and questioned also, luckily my friend told the police I was an American who did not know better.
You do not have to cross a crosswalk if you have more than 100 meters to the nearest one. A Pole would get a ticket for that, the cops were understanding only because he was a foreigner.
You need to walk around Żoliborz district. It's a quite different and lovely area - the most popular and probably most expensive to live in. It's like a small, atmospheric town within a town. Furthermore, it's quieter, green, filled with history.
Kind Regards🇵🇱
If you looked Polish they would give a ticket. Foreigners are normally treated so much nicer by Poland's police. So consider yourself lucky.
Hi Luke, really enjoying the videos! I can recommend in Wola District where Warsaw Uprising Museum is located to go and see Plac Europejski and Browary. Browary has a very nice food court with lots of options.
Take Metro 2 towards Bemowo and get off at Rondo Daszynskiego
Too bad, I've also been in Warsaw for two days and today I also walked past the pałac kultury. Would have loved to say hello to you...
Tallest buikding is Varso tower not the palace of culture you were pointing out Cheers Luke heading to Warsaw January 30 I remember you from Patchwork in 2019 Good to see you well brother
Much different in winter Luke, but still lovely 😊
Another great video Fam
Ahh thank you my brother. Ans thank you for supporting me! It means more than you know 🙏🏽
Go to Lazienki Park! Especially in the summer. You could do an entire video there.
That puddle was right next to the staircase where my grandma used to live, small world. That is actually in Czech not polish 😄
Hey Luke, nice to see, that we where neighbors for a short time 🙂
You can get ice creams in Poland, even in winter, but from the fridges (e.g. in Żabka) only. ;)
luke since you are on top of 3 things where you are staying jthere is tomb of unknown soldier military museum and warsaw castle ....art gallery is worth seeing...also if you like myths there is a in old town basilik caffe
Weather forecasts states its freezing at night but not too bad during the day, doesn't look so from this video though.
I will be there in May, but its kind of sad often to see tourist that dont know that much about the city they visit and going without any plan. You can visit and see so much there. Warsaw is so full of History and more of many castles also parks.
27:00 yeah like a sweet pub you just missed
Warszawa centrum? Prycze jak w więzieniu lol.... No ten obrazeczek Solidarności pasuje do tego światka LOL! Greetings Luke :-0
16:37 Some Poles saved Jews, but there were also pogroms where we slaughtered them, the most famous in Jedwabne. It should also be noted that Poland was the only country where hiding a Jew was punishable by death.
Im Polish and last year in warsaw i was stopped and frisked randomly just because i was walking by myself at night, so i would assume getting stopped is normal in poland even if you look polish
See the Christmas market in krakow or Wrocław. I promise it’s better
hey Luke, about that police incident at Nowy Świat street, yeep they would have stop You even if You'd be tall, blonde, blue eyed Aryan looking guy. They basically station there now, bc on the other side of the street when You enter backyard area there's some pubs/bars/shisha bars... and ppl used to cross here all the time causing some mayhem on the street... But You 're right, in spring/summertime weekends Nowy Świat is off limits for cars and it's turned in one great pavement basically.
Luke You complained about cold in Poland . Please check the weather in USA, people are dying from cold it’s crazy there ,are You not aware about it?
Pozdrawiam
Stay strong, remember the civilization started as a movement which wanted to overcome struggle of bad, cold weather. Those who did not struggle are still not civilized. In oppose to Africans we in Europe were taught discipline, you have 4 months to accomplish a task or you and your family is dead. Pretty simple. That is why the civilization grew up in harsh conditions, and not where you can decide you want to work or not this day.
Interesting story of a friend who created rooftop gardens.
Maybe you will create art in Warsaw, everyone can do it, you have to want it 😃
People in Poland have a big complex that Poland is worse.
And everyday problems.
So much aggression...
Never give up 🌉
4 weeks today I’ll be here
Ohhh I can’t wait for that! And I know you are counting down the days!! 🔥🔥
It is the tallest building in European Union, not in Europe
In europe
Yes, you can get a fine for crossing the street not on a crosswalk, also if you’re polish ;))
ever since the wok situation it's never been the same
Hope you did not get a ticket on not crossing on the sidewalk, recently they give people tickets
Lubie filmy Luka, ale straszna jakość tego 360p 😆
tylko podczas premiery ;)
You must come summer time again and visit masurian lakes....or other places with lakes for example near german border...Łagów Lubuski...lake and castle....greate place to spend one week at least
Luke, I was stopped some time ago in Warsaw for crossing on a cross walk but on a red light. It took about 10 minutes for these guys to figure it out that I wasn’t going to pay a fine since I’ve got both Polish an American citizenship.
That's the law in Poland like it or not. What is it you don't understand here?
Thanks for commenting, but there is always context. When I was stopped, the police detected my accent and saw that I had two passports because they were in my pocket. They attempted to get cash when I told them I don’t have cash although they saw some dollars in my wallet they backed off as I said that this is now being recorded. So it’s got nothing to do with a US passport, but someone police issues like you see in the United States all over the place.
👍
14:02 If you were Polish you would get a ticket.
Head to the tatra mountains
Unbelievable all these horrible graffiti on walls. When I went to Warsaw in 2016 I didn't see anything like this.
Łapy łamać za to badziewie na ścianach
We obey red+green lights and crossings. Really :)
I know you 😃
Y3st3rd4y I saw Your vlog when You been in Kraków. And I loved it.
If I would not use crosswalk , I would be fined and get ticket for 50 zł...
🙃😉
Załóż kurwa jeszcze pięć szli i dostaw zdjęcie Kamczatka z niedźwiedziami i podpisz Warszawa
Interesting city, unfortunately more like a long tourist-selfie here. Sorry....
did you f. read my tips ? if you love W, you should have...
Regards react to "animated history of poland"
That's not polish though
Legia warszawa
Tylko Polonia!
witojcie! Pierwszy!
to dzieki wam europa zachodnia jest na DNIE !
haha you actually think you need to be black to have bad experience with police in Poland? its much more easier than you think but its such a usa thing to think or say that it shouldnt really surprise me
Did someone say something about an experience with Police because I’m black?? . . . . Interesting that is what came to your mind. . .
Everything is closed on Sunday because the polish government did this. Soon Poland will be like Iran with religious police.😢
or like Germany, shops are closed there on Sundays for years, same in France
When I visited family in Poland I really liked the idea of having Sundays closed for non-essential shopping. Seemed like a really good idea in a world that's too fast-paced already. Forces people to spend more time together. Felt very healing and calming to be honest.
Just stop. Nobody wants to listen to your frustrations.
A z główką wszystko w porządku ? Polecam mniej TVN
Don't exaggerate! It's actually a really good thing for shops to be closed on Sundays! I wish they did this worldwide! Spend time with your family or read the Bible, your wallet can have a day off!
