      NEW testament Paul I think it was; wrote, " Mt. Sinai in Arabia", this mount looks like it!!
      Mountain Sinai of God. ....where Moses n Israel saw Gods Presence light it on fire and burn the rock, no other scientific reason for it to be burned .. its not a volcano......it was God lighting the rocks on fire....by His presence

      Do muslims know this is Mount Sinai? Few Christians know...plainly in the new testament it says..Moint Sinai in ARABIA!!..quoting apostle Paul so He thought this was.it...n he was educated by the most knowledgeable Jews, schooled by them.

      @@better0h Yes, in Galatians 4:25, Paul says that Mount Sinai is in Arabia. More Christians are coming to know this, and many of the locals here know about it too, along with Split Rock, the Golden Calf Altar, and many of the other sites . . . Jethro of Midian. Thank you for your comments!😊💕

      Yes, it is very unusual. The dark area is where I believe that God burned the rock from the intense heat when "the Lord descended on Mt. Sinai in the form of fire" Exodus 19:16. There is a definite boundary line where it started . . . I will go again in 3 weeks to explore more. Can't wait!

      There has been much research in the last 30-50 years that shows evidence that Mount Sinai is in Saudi Arabia, as stated in Galatians 4:25. It is my opinion, after seeing with our own eyes, and based on the overwhelming evidence of the Red Sea crossing, the location of Elim, Rephidim, the Golden Calf Altar, Moses' Altar, along with many other discovered sites, and the location of Midian, Jethro's home. that Mt. Sinai is here. Thx for asking.

    • @traventureswithphoebe
      @traventureswithphoebe  Год назад

      Thank you for asking. On this first hike, only my daughter and her husband climbed to the top of Mount Sinai. My husband and I climbed in March. We are in our 60's and in good shape. It was extremely difficult. It was long and exhausting for us. Our daughter and her husband were worried for us until we returned, because they knew how difficult it was. Very steep, no pathway to follow. You need to be well prepared beforehand. And the children and elders would need to wait at the base. It was an awe-inspiring gift to be able to climb, and even to see this ancient Biblical site.😊💞

    • @traventureswithphoebe
      @traventureswithphoebe  Год назад +1

      Things may change by 2024, as there is much construction in the area. We just mapped it out and drove on our own, and looked it up on google maps. I think the best route is to park as close as you can to the Altar of Moses, then climb to Elijah's cave, then turn right and go down the hill, then up. You will see hiking markers once you get close to the blackened rock. It's an amazing, awesome experience. Hope you make it!😊💕

      @@anjiesabater826 The only place we needed a permit was for Wadi Taayib. It was very difficult to get. You have to be working on the Neom Project to get the permit. No permits needed for all other sites. Tabuk is the closest city with hotels. And it is almost 2 hours drive. There isn't a trail, you have to make your own. And there are some very steep areas. You need to be in pretty good shape, able to do the strenuous hike for 8 hours. It's good to have hiking pants for stickery bushes and sliding on rocks. And gloves are extremely helpful, as well as 1 hiking pole, especially for going downhill. And definitely 3 litres of water. God bless & take care!😊💕

      @traventureswithphoebe what is in Wadi Tayib that you need to get a permit? I thought they have already made an easy trail to get up the mountain. Could be tricky if you do it your own. Might get lost. Hope we could find someone who's local working in Tabuk to bring us there. I heard there are some male Filipinos dependents who works as guide tours there. That would be easy. Thanks for the info.

    Hi! Thanks for the informative vlog. How did you get a permit to climb the mt sinai? Can you help pls. Thanks 😊

      No permit needed to climb Mt Sinai at this time. You can cross over to Moses Altar at the wadi. You can see it on Google Earth. Or you can drive up as we did on my second Mt Sinai video. Hope you can make it!😊💕

    6:53 seems like that whole mountain range has blackened top. Is all that considered one mountain?

    • @traventureswithphoebe
      @traventureswithphoebe  11 месяцев назад

      You are correct. I have seen 2-3 different peaks that have been considered, but the one we chose seems to be located near the altar of Moses, the place that the 70 elders met, and near several other Biblical sites. But it is difficult to know if it is the exact mountain that Moses climbed. It does have almond trees, and any of these mountains would have been a challenging climb for a man of 80 years.

    If I want to do this trip what are the best steps I should take. Im often in Saudi Arabia and really really really want to go there!!

      Study the location on Google Earth, watch youtube videos and get really familiar with the area, map out your hike. Fly into Tabuk, rent a car, stay in Tabuk 2+ nights, hike with someone. If you want to do more than hike, you may need 3-4 days. It's a 2-hour drive to all the sites. There is a recent RUclips on the Kilns for making the Tabernacle that were possibly just discovered. That's our next trip . . . looking for the Kilns or metallurgy site. Super interesting. Right near the Golden Calf Altar (1-2 miles). You need a good travel partner. Be sure to go between November and March for the best weather.☺💞

    You have to be more careful with that place, it's not Disneyland, it contains ones of the wonders of the world, God descended there, and that land is holy, the government should fence off the area, and see the ruins from a prudent distance.

      Spirit of God dwells in all those who are born again. Don't have to go to a mountain where he isn't at anymore...

      @@ReadyToFly24 You don't necessarily have to be a born again believer in Christ. In the beginning when God created all things great and small, God created man on the last day of creation. God also created women as Adam's (Man's) partner. Eve in ancient Hebrew meaning the spirit of God. When God gave life to Eve a part of his spirit went into her, every child born from Eve and Eves descendants which includes us has the spirit of God in them. (GENESIS CHAPTER 1) When sin entered the world and corrupted mankind. God said that our days would be numbered at 120 years, and that my (God) spirit will not dwell with man for long. This is where Christians get the term that we will stand before the almighty YHWH after our life here on earth ends.

      @@jonathankuaana2115 There are many verses in the Bible telling of the Spirit of God, of Jesus, living in us. We need to ask Him into our hearts. Romans 8:11 says, "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised the Christ Jesus, from the dead, will also give life to your mortal body through His Spirit who dwells in you." There are many verses that tell us we will stand before God at judgement: Romans 14:10, 12 “Each of us will stand personally before the judgement seat of God, each of us will give a personal account to God.” This awaits every person; each of us will have our time standing before the Lord one day and we will give an account of our lives to him."😊
