Mineta Minoru has had a hard time being a good person over the course of My Hero Academia's Manga and Anime from Season 1 all the way through Season 5, but by Season 6 Mineta has actually become pretty normal, and in this short we'll discuss the reason why Mineta stops being such an unlikeable character, as he completely stops making perverted jokes and having creepy moments, and changes for the better! This is all thanks to Mina Ashido from Class 1-A and her having enough of Mineta's weirdness, so she takes it upon herself to finally put a stop to Mineta in the strangest way possible! I really like his character. He's kinda one of my favourites actually. In highschool there's a lot of guys like Mineta who fantasizes about girls, so it's only natural for a highschool setting to have a character like him. His personality is just an average highschooler up to eleven. People hating on him lead me to believe that they never had social connections in highschool at all.

As much as you’re right fro the most part, there is one key difference. The characters in MHA are fictional, and, therefore, the audience isn’t hurting them. Mineta, through his pervertedness, is actively hurting (or at least annoying the sh!t out of) the people who are real to him. Basically, both cases are the exact level of perversion, but whether the fandom is as bad as Mineta or not depends on whether you take this factor into account. I doubt many of the people thirsting over the MHA cast actually treat real-life people that way. I know I don’t.
