I have been a fan of women's soccer , ever since my daughter started playing at the U- 6 level all the way up to U-19, it has afforded her an us the opportunity to travel to tournaments all over Western Canada, Florida & Hawaii. The pinnacle was being able to participate in on field activities in our Home town of Edmonton Canada during the 2015 Women's World Cup in front of 60,000 fans. Everything leading up to that tournament was positive & promoting the game. Mini camps, public ceremonies, Etc. It seems that the US Womens team is not about promoting the game , just themselves. Sorry I'm not trying to trash the USA or anything like that just this toxin bunch of spoiled brats. Correction, Hawaii was the Pinnicle !

The difference is people only tune in to 3 or 4 games of the women's football matches, if they make it to a final or something. Every time the men's national team play live , even if its just friendlies everyone buys tickets and everyone tunes in to watch, yes even if they suck. The women's National team got beat by the U17 boyd team and U15 boys team. People tune in to see the best athletes in the world, it dosent matter how many titles you have, if people don't want to see it then they don't want to see it.

The pinnacle was being able to participate in on field activities in our Home town of Edmonton Canada during the 2015 Women's World Cup in front of 60,000 fans. Everything leading up to that tournament was positive & promoting the game. Mini camps, public ceremonies, Etc. It seems that the US Womens team is not about promoting the game , just themselves. Sorry I'm not trying to trash the USA or anything like that just this toxin bunch of spoiled brats. Correction, Hawaii was the Pinnicle !

If I own a business, and I got a 100 million dollars to invest in marketing for the world cup for both men and women, I'm gonna invest MORE where there is a greater chance for a return (the men's team, cause more demand there and greater audience), than on the side that will give me a lesser return (the less popular women's team). If revenue ad etc are higher for men sports, it comes from the investments in the base of sports. And this investments is not equal, hence these inequality in revenues, media coverage etc...

Because of that, they have the best infrastructure in women's soccer. They each receive a guaranteed minimum salary of $170k per year, to which they add bonuses on top. The difference is people only tune in to 3 or 4 games of the women's football matches, if they make it to a final or something. Every time the men's national team play live , even if its just friendlies everyone buys tickets and everyone tunes in to watch, yes even if they suck. The women's National team got beat by the U17 boyd team and U15 boys team. People tune in to see the best athletes in the world, it dosent matter how many titles you have, if people don't want to see it then they don't want to see it.

Male soccer and female soccer are two different things. Why are they comparing achievements ? Men soccer is obviously played at a higher level and they have far more competition that’s why their Mens Team can’t compete. Put the USMNT v USWNT and see what happens. It’s not about equality it’s just men soccer is far more popular and generates more money so that’s what their wages are based off of. Can’t pay what you don’t earn, isn’t rocket science.
