DexLogs' transition is going well
For everyone asking who they are, I'm terrible with names but they taught Dexlogs the Pokemon TCG and were in their "Is it meta or not." Series
Love the new VA, she did such a good job!
The funny thing about Plasma Ball is while it was used a decent amount, Ultra Ball was still more common in most Plasma decks since the main early game engine/attacker was Thundurus EX who accelerated energy from the discard. PB was still solid since you wanted to flood the board with Deoxys asap and you could still discard energy with Juniper, also there were other Plasma decks that came later like Virizion/Genesect that made better use of it.
The first print of Level Ball was used mostly in Eelektrik. Even though like Plasma it wanted energy in the discard that UB could achieve, since Eels were stage 1s that meant you needed twice the search compared to Plasma with Deoxys so the extra free setup was more required. Not only was it good since like Inteleon and Gardevoir it searched both the basic and stage 1, but it was even more crucial due to Tynamo having only 30-40 HP and the prevalence of Pokemon Catcher making any extra turns unevolved on the bench (especially with things like Darkrai running the format) extremely punishing.
Im sure some are just joking but i do wounder if people ever read the description 😅

I wish they would add heal ball to the game. Maybe it could come with a cool mechanic like "Pokemon summoned by heal ball Gain +30 max HP

@@boxkid759The key word in that sentence is "Usually". Meaning it being the norm, barring the rare exception.
VSTAR powers and GX attacks do break this convention. But they are once per game effects that are easy to keep track of. As to use them, you flip your VSTAR/GX marker

Dive ball was pretty good and it wasnt mentioned. Better than plasma ball imo.
Its a card that's only going to get better with time. I used it all the time in my Inteleon deck.

Great video, but gonna nerd emoji "um ackshually" nitpick the part where it says "In current Standard [Nest Ball] sees competition with Battle VIP Pass", as Battle VIP Pass has rotated out as of the release of this video.
It's true from a historical sense since the rotation was just a few weeks ago but sure enough, is not the current Standard anymore
