I live a normal life with this problem and the only thing that can increase my blood pressure is anxiety and physical activity and is not that much

Why don't you want to go if you don't mind me asking? It's really important that you go especially since you have a family history of high blood pressure. I personally know people that put off going in hopes that their blood pressure would just go back to normal but it never did.

He has been on a carnivore diet now for 3 months and his blood pressure is normal so is not taking blood pressure tablets. He is 79 years old now. He is angry that he has been taking medication all these years with the subsequent side effects when a change of diet would have been better and no side effects.

Hi.Was 'treated' for primary hypertension for years,lots of different meds and doses. Led a healthy lifestyle,lots of exercise. After a very long journey turned out to be Conns Disease causing high BP. Suffering effects od mis management now.
So sorry that happened to you! Conn's Disease is not that common, but that's no excuse. There are other symptoms in addition to the resistant high blood pressure that sound like they were being ignored. If you were leading a healthy lifestyle, I can only imagine the medical gaslighting you suffered! My heart goes out to you!

Hypertension is not a disease. I go to dialysis three times a week. My systolic has been as high as 221 for two weeks straight. I took a pill, it made me feel terrible. I started Tai Chi. My systolic dropped by 20 from th first day. Wednesday L, I went to sleep. My systolic final standing pressure was 181. Today, I was able to play Tai Chi and my final pressure was 118 systolic. Conclusion, I have been lied to by doctors all my life.

I don't know about everyone maybe we're made different but those blood pressure machines at the doctor's office don't work with me every time you take my blood pressure with those they're high I can take my blood pressure at home the old way with just a blood pressure cuff and stethoscope and it's not high garlic gel tabs will keep your blood pressure down as well I've used them for years I hate to feel this way but I think they're just trying to sell pills
