I have been using this cooler since i bought my 3900X on release day, all 12 cores overclocked to 4.3ghz 24/7 never turn off pc, this thing cools way better than any of my corsair AIO's ever did, I will be buying Deepcool AIO from here on out, not Corsair, NZXT, or any of the other major brands. You will not be disappointed, this thing cools very , very well, looks great, and doesnt have a bunch of cables coming out from the pump like the other brands, everything about it is better including the price.
Ok so I just replaced my Coolmaster 240 with one of these because when I ran Cinebench 20 I hit temps of 100. After fitting this I am at 82 max on my i9900k. Super happy with this awesome cooler.
been looking for a pump head that you can customize the logo or the center w/o having to scrape the color or destroy it's design and bam! this one fits. great review
I'm about to order it for mine as well. Just wanted to check some reviews. I currently have a Captain 240EX that's been perfect for the last five years. I have a Thermaltake V51
I'm planning on getting one of these, changing the fans to RGB ones, and putting some cool holographic sticker on the custom plaque thingo. I think that'd look lit.
Static pressure on these fans is extremely low.. where on radiators you want higher static pressure... I wonder how these would do with SP120s for example, with a static pressure of 1.45 vs the static pressure of 0.45 on the TF120 S fans that it comes with.
8700k like all intel cpus use way more heat than any current amd ryzen cpu, so if it can cool an intel cpu, it can easily cool the 3900x especially when the 3900x can be undervolted and still be overclocked unlike Intel Cpus which need high cpu vcore.
Yo my man, could you tell me what rgb pc case fans you had in that system, as well as the rgb memory kit you used? System looked pretty sweet, might have to copy it! 🤔😉
I had a ML240L for my 1800X which is OC'd to 4.15ghz all core which got the cooler so hot the block popped and poured coolant all over my RX 570 which bricked it. So I bought the Castle 360 V2(non-ex, I can't tell what's so great about the EX) and a new Nitro+ 5700 XT and it's working pretty well. I got it specifically for the anti-leak tech and so far it's working well.
Hey we do tech! I bought this cooler but I've been working for some white aio sleeves for it and none of the ones from cablemod seem to be big enough. Can you point me to something?
Okay , I'm very interested in this cooler , but I have some questions that are bothering me. Will this be good for Ryzen 9 3950x (maybe OC to 4-4,2) Will this fit in the Cougar Panzer Evo RGB (Case Form Factor: Full-Tower) What are the sound levels and is it a good idea to apply different than the pre-aplied thermal paste. (I'm looking to apply Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Conductonaut.) Thanks in advise.
Thanks for the great video. I installed this cooler into my HYTE-Y60 case with the radiator at the top and it's working nicely. I have an 11th gen Intel. The directions don't indicate an LGA 1200 is supported (Amazon indicated the 1200 was supported) but it installed fine using the directions for the LGA 11xx. I installed the pump on my 11700K with the tubes at the bottom like you did but I was wondering if it would be better to have the tubes on the left or right side of the CPU if anyone knows.
Ive just bought this cooler this aio just won't cool my i7 9700k, it's terrible I have to underclock the cpu or my temps hit over 90c, I've re-pasted this thing over 5 times, pump set to max speed, 1.17v @ 74c, I was getting better with air.
Similar issue with my i9-9900. Idle is 55-57c with all fans going 100%. If fans are set to normal idle speed then cpu goes to around 80c with no cpu load after initial temp soak of about 20 minutes. ANY activity like loading a simple webpage drives my temps up to almost 90c. Prime95 running 1 thread for less than 1 minute goes to almost 100c and never drops below 90c even when cpu goes back to idle. Customer support is very slow to even acknowledge they received my initial email. Then they go silent. Not happy at this point. Will replace thermal paste when I can get some alcohol to clean the manufacturers paste off. Not expecting much from paste change.
Hey I just bought this and I had a peculiar problem. I have a ryzen 5 3600x at stock idling at 40degrees Celcius. and when I connected the pump to my motherboards aio pump I heard a very annoying prolonged "beep" that would only quiet down when my fans ramped up during startup. I got rid of this sound by connecting the aio to a regular fan outlet set it to dc at 70%. Im wondering if you had any experience with this or any tips. I love the deepcool for aesthetics purposes but Im concerned about its performance. I did the aida64 stability test and the temperatures stayed at a constant 65 degrees. When I game I get a constant 56 degrees so its not that bad tbh but I feel that everyone is getting better performance with this than me and im wondering if I did something wrong? Thanks in advanced!
i have a i9 10900k but at cinebench it hits 100c super quick with the 240 rad and noctua 3000rpm fans on max speed ahahha.....thinking of buying this one
That bare metal backplate of the cooler makes me somewhat uncomfortable, can anyone vouch for a safe installation with no explosions or short circuits?, apart from our lovely reviewer
Mylez Cordy deepcool didn’t have their own software but it depends on your motherboard but you can use aura sync if you have an asus motherboard, mystic light for MSI motherboard, and RGB fusion for gigabyte. If you do not have those you just have to use the RGB controller that came with it.
Kraken x72 uses the latest pump while this does not. If you wanted a silent cooler with good cooling, The Celsius S36 from Fractual Design is also awesome.and is 1c worse than a kraken x72. This cooler is 1-2c worse than the kraken x72. Depends on what you value more, a well established brand like NZXT or a little guy like Deepcool.
They actually released an rgb ex360 in September, Newegg had it on sale for 129 a couple of days ago but I didn't get it because you know you can have to much RGB, IMO
No aio can keep a intel cpu under 70c unless you delidded your cpu and got good Silicon lottery. This is actually good temps as the 870k at 5ghz uses 250tdp which is 3 times hotter than it would run at it's stock speeds.

how is the cooler going I am thinking of one my self
How does the DeepCool castle 360 compares with the Lian Li Galahad 360 ? which one is better? does it have a pump whine?
I got this, it cools my 3900X really well and beats my Noctua D-15 Chromax black cooler at idle and load.
Nice good to know. I’m wondering how well this performs vs noctua, since they crap on most water coolers.
Do u use the supplied fans or use others like Corsair etc.... How bout full load (100%) temps?
Really I was thinking about buy noctua cooler. So you said this deep cool it's better?

Yeah but can I turn the RGB lights off if I want?
Whats the difference between this and the 360 RGB V2? Looking to pick up the latter soon
I see you unscrew the the cap to change the logo orientation. Cab you leave the cap off? Seemed to look real nice without it.
Do you have any Zen 2 chips to try with this? Specifically the 3900x?

None
honestly find deepcool great for the price u can find a gammax l360 v2 often for 70 euros here wich performs the same as the castle just not as pretty
Does the copper base of the pump cover the entire heatsink of threadripper 3960x?
